Why study theology?
1. To know the character of God.
2. To serve the will of God.
3. To glorify the holiness of God.
4. To enjoy the attributes of God.
5. To love the perfection of God.
6. To worship the person of God.
I just want to remind you,
“God is not human, that he should lie,not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? (Numbers 23:19)
You can trust him. He who promised is faithful!
"Beware of watering down Christianity until the solution is so weak that if it were poison it would not hurt anyone, and if it were medicine it would not cure anyone." AW Tozer #tozer
“Mental pain is less dramatic than physical pain, but it is more common and also more hard to bear. The frequent attempt to conceal mental pain increases the burden: it is easier to say ‘My tooth is aching’ than to say ‘My heart is broken’.”

The Problem of Pain
“Our cause is never more in danger than when a human, no longer desiring, but still intending, to do our Enemy's will, looks round upon a universe from which every trace of Him seems to have vanished, and asks why he has been forsaken, and still obeys.”

“Of Course God does not consider you hopeless. If He did, He would not be moving you to seek Him (and He obviously is)... Continue seeking Him with seriousness. Unless He wanted you, you would not be wanting Him.”
