the ark is also tied to the idea of a 3 part universe... the first part with the charon-esque gondola might be the underworld. the second section has a day and night (referencing genesis in the bible?) so that could be earth. and the final stage with the feathers could be heaven

looking back on eplink etc, eichi recurringly brings up the guilt he feels due to his success during the war and how his sacrifices are seen as noble and necessary... it would make sense that "feathers of ark" is referencing noahs ark bc noah and his family are the only survivors
