Thank you, Rep. @JasonOrtitay for visiting #CCA's Capital Campus today and touring #AgWorksatCCA. We appreciate you taking the time to stop by to see how we are serving students across Pennsylvania.
@FlahertyBill I think that's where this course was a real eye-opener. I never even knew about things like professional chats even existed on Twitter. It was like finding out about a whole new side of social media!
A4. I plan on continuing to take advantage of the excellent resources and connections that I've found to grow as an educator. I also plan on implementing some use of social media in my classroom as a resource for my students. #edu929chat
A3. @plugusin has been great to follow just for great ideas and motivation. I also appreciate @mraspinall for what he shares about utilizing coding and technology with students #edu929chat
A2. 1 How to use Twitter chats to discuss focused ideas. 2 How Facebook groups can make it easy to find new ideas and generate discussion 3 How to begin implementing social media more in my classroom #edu929chat
A1. Twitter has been great to connect with other professionals. I also like Pinterest for gathering new ideas and teaching techniques (though Instagram fills this role too!) #edu929chat
CCA’s electives helped college sophomore, Justin, identify his career passion early in high school. He is now working with the @Pirates to gain experience for a career in sports marketing! https://t.co/b4u20Kkhal
CCA students in York recently visited @CreativeYorkPA to learn about career paths in the arts. They also learned about foundational techniques, like material and application, color, line and tone. https://t.co/OPfe8u0PhV
@skrocki@CommCharterAcad This seems like terrible disservice to the many hard-working teachers at @CommCharterAcad who are passionate about their students’ education and growth. Regardless of school, we shouldn’t let standardized test results overshadow the impact that any teacher can have on a child!
Our students have grown and donated more than 380 lbs of produce to @centralpafb at our state-of-the-art, career training aquaponic center.
This is innovative education for a sustainable future, a demonstration of commitment to our communities. @PAAgriculture@pedroarivera2
CCA’s Student Assistance Program provides a wide range of support and resources to families & students to remove barriers to learning. The SAP team recently gave back to their community by donating their time at the @centralpafb. Read about their efforts: https://t.co/a4uEelVVe4
