When this is over & we’re laughing in bars, eating with friends & filling theatres, I hope that our outlook changes.
I hope we can realise that the only way forward is to forget our differences, look out for each other and celebrate the little things in life that make us happy.
Having to make rules. No alcohol until 7pm. Otherwise I’ll be battered by lunchtime every day, hunched over my laptop, crying at the kindness of humanity while listening to Eric Clapton’s Tears in Heaven.
I love NAPA when it’s bustling and fizzing with energy but I also love it first thing in a morning when I’m the only one here.
