What a moment in our story. 🇺🇸

If you would have shown me this photo two years ago, I would not have believed it. At an event running for US Congress full of supporters fired up about the future. All the moments we have shared across this district… the conversations, the questions, the ideas, the laughter, and the prayers. We are living the dream in the country of dreams.

What a moment in Virginia and America.

We have a rising generation searching for truth, for purpose, and for something real. We have drifted toward more government programs, more dependency, more frustration, more confusion, and away from loving our neighbor and “we the people.” Now some are looking in the dust bin of history to socialism / communism as the answer. Some are thinking if we just take enough of other people’s resources, we can fix it. But the answer isn’t found in taking from others, it is found in giving and serving in a sustainable way. That is true love.

This is the moment to remember who we are. A nation founded on the profound idea that our rights come from God, not a government. This is still the country of dreams. This is still the place where you can create a better life for your family and future generations. You still have purpose in your work and your family.

This is who we are. If we can awaken in this moment.

Maybe we drifted in our comfort and blessings, but this is not how the story ends. People are looking for something different, and that something different feels very familiar, because it’s who we are.

I love you America. This is the battle of our generation. This is our moment.
