maybe programmatically enforcing "good actions bring good karma" will be a systematic upgrade for human civilization too, such that jugaad patchworks like the Book of Job or the concept of Samsara will no longer be needed - or in a positive narrative, will be accelerated.

Planned economy is like analytical solutions while market economy is like control theory based solutions. Each family & corp is intrinsically a planned economy, and as it shows, under the current mgmt framework, such planned economy simply does not scale when the entity gets big.

why governments have to be elected via a cronjob-ish mechanism, instead of being push based, like how observability metrics work? so that each individual's opinions get aggregated in realtime and that becomes the national policy, in near-realtime.

It’s trivial to see that if people were allowed to migrate freely across the globe, the entire world would eventually form ROI equilibrium: further migrations will no longer improve the quality of life of anyone. But this not necessarily optimizes the sum or acc of global wealth.
