@_eamonoreilly The path GAA is headed these injuries will only get worse. Amateur players training/playing professionally. Sean Carmody and co. study on knee injuries is frightening
@GAAtrackerAPP@ConanDoherty Having watched an intercounty challenge game recently, I’m on the same wavelength. Only other noticeable difference is that most kickouts will be 50/50 unless you have a keeper who’s ice cold. Going short is a quicker way to lose a game than win one
@malmcmullan I’d stick with the bad weather every day of the week and just re-fix a game. Astro is detrimental for players with regards injuries and should be kept away
@GAAtrackerAPP@MarkMcCartan@loadofballs01 with. No reason why in season dual players can’t alternate the physical trainings and skills/tactical side of things each week (game-week for either team decides this) but that’s the GAA for you 🤷♂️🤷♂️
@GAAtrackerAPP@MarkMcCartan@loadofballs01 Dual players do probably miss out in the long run of the season but there is no reason why managers cannot get the balance right. The reason managers can’t get it right is because they don’t want to. Either managers don’t communicate effectively or else don’t give a sh1t to begin
@emlynmulligan They do have some big benefactors behind them but I see no problem with it. If someone has gone off and become and self-made millionaire, they have the right to choose how they splash their cash
@wereontheditch To put politics before someone’s daughter’s disappearance and death is the lowest of the low. Any politicians and Gardaí involved should be ashamed if they really did know the answers. I hope they are reminded of it every day
@PlayerGaelic There’s two sides to it. Obviously you can lend a helping hand but that’s only someone who knows what they’re actually talking about. I mention the two sides because that’s also a massive problem in GAA circles, too many people think they know what they’re at
