We, in India, view the world as one family.
Our experience shows that development is most effective when it is connected to the aspirations of people.
This principle also forms the basis of our international partnerships like the International Solar Alliance, Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure, Global Biofuels Alliance, Mission LiFE, and ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ (A tree for mother).
Mutual trust is the most important strategic asset today.
But, sadly, today, the world does not suffer from a shortage of resources…it suffers from a shortage of trust.
And the future of our partnerships depends on re-building this trust.
India believes that the true test of partnership is not what we build for others, but what we enable others to build for themselves.
Our development partnerships reflect the same spirit.
Our efforts have focused on capacity building and skill development in partner countries.
Highlighted India’s efforts in Africa, including the focus on training, capacity building, water resources, agriculture and energy. These are strengthening the capacities of African nations and helping them provide solutions to pressing global challenges.
Emphasised that the Global South has immense expectations from the world. More than support, it seeks partnership.
We must move beyond the donor-recipient mindset and work as equal partners!
We must walk together and not merely alongside one another.
Partnerships must be linked to dignity, not dependency.
We discussed ways to work closely in areas like innovation, AI, skill development, sports and more. We also discussed how to increase investment linkages for the benefit of the people of our nations.
When we talk about building a developed nation, it really comes down to making everyday life easier and better for families across the country.
Through the massive push by PM @narendramodi, projects ranging from the Jal Jeevan Mission and PM Awas Yojana to high-speed highways are completely changing our landscape.
Delivering tap water to rural homes, building pucca houses, and shortening travel times are the true building blocks of a stronger, more comfortable India.

The Modi government has been working towards the resolution of long-pending issues to accelerate development. In this direction, a landmark breakthrough was achieved today on issues related to the Kishau Multipurpose Dam.
Today, the stakeholder states—Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan—agreed to sign an MoU for the implementation of the project. This landmark resolution will benefit millions by ensuring the equitable sharing of project benefits and realizing the vision of a clean and rejuvenated Yamuna.
It was a delight to meet Prime Minister Carney on the sidelines of the Evian G7 Summit. In less than a year, it is our fourth meeting, indicating our commitment to strong India-Canada ties. We reviewed the full range of relations between our nations, notably the ground covered since we last met.

Had a wonderful meeting with PM Keir Starmer in Evian. The last year has been outstanding as far as India-UK relations are concerned. The trade deal has opened many avenues of economic cooperation. Today’s talks focused on how to add even more momentum to India-UK ties.

Shared my thoughts at the Outreach Session on ‘Forging New Partnerships and Rebuilding International Solidarity’ at the G7 Summit in Evian. In a world that is getting more interconnected and interdependent than ever before, this subject becomes all the more vital. But, partnerships can succeed only when they are founded on trust.
@G7

Modi era is defined by the emergence of a new, fortified and confident middle-class through govt initiatives like cutting down tax burdens, reducing GST compliance, building over 1 Cr. homes, metro rail networks and extension of other infrastructural facilities. Braced with modern frameworks like Vande Bharat trains, Namo Bharat Corridors and UDAN, the aspirations of our middle class have taken a new flight today.
