@bdrijalab I don't think anyone questions rutu's inclusion in ODIs. It's the test inclusion which is questioned. People also questioned SKY's nd Ishan's inclusion in tests. Ishan nd Bharat were included only because of wk role. The point is for test abhimanyu and panchal are better choices.

I won't say equally skilled considering gill has better control nd middles 9 out of 10 balls and rutu has to work on that in the start of innings.

But gill has proved himself Better in more pressure situations including the Historic Gabba win where he smashed the likes of starc nd cummins.

Why can't anyone else score in the same stadium with that consistency? His batting suits well for SENA conditions. What more is required?

He has skill nd potential better than his peers who are at his level. He has only played 5 matches in Chepauk. Let's wait nd see how he is going to do in CWC

@CSKYash_ Jaiswal nd gill didn't get enough support from the other end nd had to score for the team whereas rutu was cushioned by conway who himself is a better batsman than rutu but not getting the appreciation he deserves from the fans..

@balltamperrer Gill > Rutu. Never before chepauk has been called as gold standard for batting. Why didn't other players play such consistent knocks at ahemdabad if it's so easy? Just see his control always near 90% whereas rutu has it around 75% that's the hallmark of a class player
