@DLJamesOrtega@_JaxOhf@ryangerritsen I stand corrected on the 5 years to apply. Either way you still have to wait to receive a decision on your application which happens within 16 months and will get your citizenship 10 months afterward. So minimum 5 years total
@DLJamesOrtega@_JaxOhf@ryangerritsen How dense are you?? thats what ive been saying. You have to hold a PR for a minimum of 5 years of which 3 you have to have lived in Canada. Only then can you apply. Processing takes another year or so. you will wait minimum 6 years before being able to vote. Most wait longer
@DLJamesOrtega@_JaxOhf@ryangerritsen I landed in Canada as PR 2008, got citizenship 2014. And this is on the shorter end. Most people wait around 10 years
@DLJamesOrtega@_JaxOhf@ryangerritsen I’m an immigrant myself. I think I know how long I had to wait before applying. 5 years post PR (3 years minimum you have to be in Canada)
@DLJamesOrtega@_JaxOhf@ryangerritsen No it isnt. Minimum 5 years (3 of which you have to have been in Canada), plus it takes another 12 -16 months or so after application to recieve decision and then an avergae of 10 months for certificate to be issued. So you’re looking at around around 6-6.5 years minimum
@jortscity@ctjlewis No because the 0-100 scale makes no sense. Nobody will be spending 100% of their income on food. If we are looking at someone making (50K/year) the original scale would represent $4.5K to $6K. The 0-100 would be $0 to $50K. That scale is ridiculous in this context
@Spoonsdagoat ahhh i forget. We kinda started w a random one and then each new song we listened to we’d try and to debate if it’s more or less simp than the previous
