Too many broken promises. 50% growth in the foreseable future, lasted only 2 years. FSD release, kept getting delayed, perhaps till merger. Meanwhile, profit margin is getting thinner and PE multiple is getting ridiculously high. Something positive needs to happen and it’s not the merger. The merger will be disastrous to Tesla shareholders but advantageous to Elon as the majority shareholder of SpaceX. Why people don’t think deeper into that I am not sure. I can’t believe what I read from most Tesla super bull. Take their opinion with a pinch of salt, maybe 100 pinches of salt.
@BestTrader01 This is low man. You know he sold share to pay taxes as part of the 2018 compensation. I know you dislike him, but you need to stay objective to maintain credibility and not spin the story.
I am with you man. SpaceX is losing huge money. Combine that loss with Tesla profit, and you still have huge loss. Add the Terafab capex investment and you can imagine where the stock would be. Sure it might be profitable after 2030. But between now and then, it will crash multiple times. Tesla should just focus on delivering FSD fully, something that was promised ages ago.
The Tesla staff in Singapore showroom said FSD started to get approval in Malaysia and Thailand (in process) and Singapore would be soon. Next year is highly probable. $tsla
$MU $DRAM
Micron, SK Hynix and Samsung went from 1-year deals to 5-year agreements. Adds stability and predictability.
The market loves stability and pays premium multiples for it. Yet forward PE still sits at 5x-8x.
The re-rate has not happened yet. We're so early
If you re-rate $MU and $SNDK to 17x forward PE
$MU is $1,700 $SNDK is $2,650
It's called the "Embarrassment Case."
The semiconductor sector average is 34x.
17x is only half. $DRAM
Half the credit for companies building the Cognitive Capacity of AIs, the KV Cache.
It is somewhat priced-in, yes. But there are other variables not priced in, such as better cost efficiency, better production and yield rate, and the biggest of all, price increase. Micron will almost definitely increase price in not too distant future, given Samsung has increased the price by 100% in Q1. When that happens, it will just flow into profit and PE multiple.
My first unsupervised @robotaxi ride here in Austin! Come along with me on this 1st experience of driving around Austin with just me in the car and in the back seat!
Congrats to the @Tesla_AI team! 🤠👍
