@redpepper1011 Got very little support until daughter needed waking night shifts for clinical reasons - then the equipment we got easily was all for the benefit of the staff. Dietician wanted a good armchair for her - OT ignored it - took years! 🤬
@Doc_IonaCollins @thegradmedic When she was eventually treated all hell let loose-student used it as a personal learning opportunity for himself asking too many questions and getting in the way. Senior doctor told him to P*** off! Doc said he would be dealt with and I trusted him to do so-he was a good guy!
@thegradmedic Began to worry about his actual status but his ID badge was on backwards. Kept telling him that when was getting worse but he did nothing to help her. Turned out he was a medical student grabbing the chance to practice taking histories! Put my daughter at risk by lying!🤬🤬🤬2/2
@thegradmedic I’ve never mistaken a doctor for a nurse but think their should be better/obvious ID-though heaven knows what! Once (years ago) was trapped in a small room with a guy who introduced himself as a doctor taking a long medical history of my daughter as she rapidly deteriorated.1/2
@martinimarie Fond memories of daughter (over 18) ‘ outrageously’ ‘indulging’ in alcohol in pubs. No mental capacity issues but she was very small so there was a limit! 🤣🤣 Her size resulted in a few raised eyebrows from other customers but her ID had been checked.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@CPMumma79@Fhamiltontimes One of my countless offences centred around the time of day I send e mails!🤷🏽♀️ Oh - and when a SLT was unable to fix an appointment daughter was actually on ITU (we didn’t know if she would live or not)- what did they decide ? That they would support the person referring 🤬🤬🤬🤬
@CPMumma79@Fhamiltontimes J’s mum - yes - and the referrals are mostly engineered by safeguarding itself. They make it clear to other so-called professionals that they have to make more and more referrals so SS can reach targets. Pretty pie charts to illustrate increased referrals! 🤬 1/2
@LissaKay@fesshole Found a box of eggs once that had some missing (whilst checking they weren’t broken)-told shop staff and they said it happens all the time-they check the boxes are full when they put them on the shelves but people actually pinch individual eggs! Now TWO reasons to check! 🤷🏽♀️🤣
@redpepper1011 Or they send them to boost themselves when you don’t want them from them!!! 🤷🏽♀️ Had years of problems with nursing agency before my daughter died - when she died they had the audacity to send flowers - they got them back! 🤬
@redpepper1011 Bless him - nice thought - but I knew him too well to be disappointed- he’d probably pinched the concrete from somewhere and the police would have dug it back up for evidence !!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 2/2
@redpepper1011 Had a very high doorstep where we used to live - one day a passing neighbour decided to help me lift the wheelchair in and said he’d had done ‘spare’ concrete the week before and wished he’d thought to use it to build us a ramp. 1/2
@Rei_Never@CrimeGirI Oh James! Have you neglected to teach them that you have to be a grown up before you’re allowed chocolate cake for breakfast? !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
