ये दिल्ली-देहरादून हाईवे है। देश के यशस्वी प्रधानमंत्री माननीय श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने इसका उद्घाटन अभी दो महीने पहले ही किया था।

दो महीने में हाईवे का ये हाल है। सोचिए अभी मानसून की पहली बारिश भी नहीं हुई है।

सूरत: गुजरात का एक प्रमुख और बेहद जीवंत औद्योगिक महानगर। जिसकी अपनी पहचान है मजबूत अर्थव्यवस्था, साफ-सफाई और समृद्ध व्यापार। पूरे भारत से लोग यहां रोजगार की तलाश में आते हैं, इसलिए इसे 'लघु भारत' भी कहा जाता है।

लेकिन अफसोस की भ्रष्ट हाथों में होने के चलते यहां के हालात कुछ ऐसे हो जाते हैं!!

सूरत में बनी एक नई सड़क धंस गई और उसमें पानी का एक टैंकर समा गया। खास बात ये है कि हर मॉनसून में वही कहानी दोहराई जाती है: घटिया निर्माण, जवाबदेही का अभाव और गड्ढों वाली ज़मीनों में जनता का डूबता पैसा!!
