🧵: Sentient AGI explained.

1/ @SentientAGI is developing the world's largest open intelligence network to ensure that it belongs to humanity, not corporations.

With $85 million in funding, they are developing the GRID, which will combine:

- 100+ models/agents.
- Tools to operate as a single decentralised system.

2/ Sentient develops AI models that are:

- Open (available to all)
- Monetisable (creators are compensated)
- Loyal (consistent with community values).

They track usage and ensure fair compensation through blockchain fingerprinting.

3/ Users passed logic tests to earn ownership NFTs, resulting in the first truly community-governed AI.

This demonstrates that decentralised AI governance can work at scale.

4/ Sentient's ROMA (Recursive Open Meta Agent) framework supports multi-agent collaboration in complex reasoning.

It divides large goals into subtasks and recombines the results, achieving cutting-edge performance while remaining completely open source.
