While climate action has often been seen as a concern for the privileged, grassroots movements and community-driven efforts have always been at the forefront of fighting for healthier communities and preserving our planet. Environmental justice isn’t just about politics; it’s about humanity.
This Earth Week, we’re shining a spotlight on five Black-led environmental organizations paving the way for the next generation, empowering them to take action, raise awareness, and drive change in the fight against environmental issues. Follow @harlemgrown @uprosebrooklyn @frankskikids @generation__green @youthvsapocalypse to get involved!
