The @LGBTCenterNYC was established to provide a safe place for LGBTQ+ New Yorkers during the height of the AIDS crisis.
Honored to join them to sign legislation that will protect people who have or are vulnerable to HIV/AIDS. With these bills, we’re saving lives.
An end to the HIV/AIDS epidemic is within reach, but access to treatment is key.
Prior authorizations delay care & put patients at risk. Proud to join @GovKathyHochul for signing of my bill to end PA requirements for HIV drugs & others to protect LGBTQ+ NYers.
Happy Pride! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

The budget cuts that @NYCMayor is pushing would REVERSE the progress NYC has made toward ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic. ⏮️
We hope @NYCCouncil will stand strong against cuts that undermine public health.

The last couple of weeks my office has met with several groups that have shared deep concern about cuts to health homes, home care, schools & more.
New Yorkers are suffering and recovering from the worst global pandemic of our lifetime. The proposed cuts must be reversed.
Health Home is a statewide program that helps people with multiple qualifying conditions (HIV/AIDS, serious mental illness, other chronic illnesses).
Gov. Hochul has proposed devastating cuts to Health Home. Thanks to public health hero @votejgr for speaking out against this cut

Thank you @NewYorkCares for donating coats to our client community 😍 This week, we opened our “thrift store” where clients picked their favorite coat to take home, for free of course!
Mayor Adams is proposing massive cuts to supportive housing, which will only worsen the housing crisis.

TODAY: 100+ organizations delivered a letter to @GovKathyHochul demanding expansion of Overdose Prevention Centers.
With 18 NYers dying everyday from preventable overdoses, we cannot allow politics to block lifesaving solutions.

'Tis the season of generosity and gifts! So when you donate $25 or more, we'll gift you a limited-edition Harlem United tote bag to show our appreciation.

We picked up more than 30,000 syringes from parks and other public spaces in Harlem and the Bronx this year! Our outreach teams are in the field 7 days a week, cleaning up syringe litter and providing care for our neighbors who use drugs.
