@wiltshirepolice this evening I witnessed an act of dangerous driving in Swindon (overtaking dangerously / 51 in a 30 zone). My son managed to get a picture of the car involved, but did not manage to get a video. What, if anything, can be done?

21:13 and it is 29°C still in our house. Windows open and fans going all day to try and cool it down. We peaked at 34°C inside today.
It's nice that we had a bank holiday without rain, but it's too hot for my liking.

Adulting dilemma.
Current car. Fits in our 70s garage. Petrol, and fairly cheap to run. Really practical with a big boot, but... potentially hefty repair bill incoming.

New cars. Hugely expensive. No chance of fitting in the garage. Would love an EV but no charging at home.

New car cash purchase wipes out all my savings.
New car on PCP works out at least £5k more expensive overall than cash.

Parking in my street is atrocious. Last night I would have had to park 200m away from the house, in front of somebody else's.

Absolutely mortified. Helping the eldest finish his coursework. Decided it would be good to laminate the pages he'd written. Had forgotten he'd used an erasable pen (jic) and the heat of the laminator evaporated the ink. Now he has to rewrite half of it FML!
