.@HarpalCheemaMLA’s baseless allegations against @SukhpalKhaira reflect the AAP government’s political vendetta. The minister is rattled after Punjab Congress submitted a Laanhat Patar demanding justice for Punjab’s son Parminder Singh Jhota and accountability for the denial of justice in sacrilege cases.

The Supreme Court has stayed proceedings in the case against Khaira since June 2024. Meanwhile, AAP govt continues to withhold the Justice Gurnam Singh Commission report on the 1986 Nakodar firing.

When confronted over failures and denied justice, @AamAadmiParty resorts to smears instead of accountability.

Despite unanimous agreement among MLAs in the presence of the respected Jathedars of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, AAP government is backing away from amending the anti-sacrilege law and holding a discussion on it. CM has also misled the House regarding documents sent from the Punjab Assembly to the President’s Office.

Today, I submitted a Privilege Motion against @BhagwantMann Mann through Punjab Assembly Secretary Ram Lok Khatana to Speaker @SpeakerSandhwan.

The motion concerns misleading the House about the 2018 Punjab Anti-Sacrilege Bill. The dignity of the Assembly demands truth and accountability.
