RIP Manchán Magan, brilliant writer, broadcaster, filmmaker and powerful advocate for the Irish language, nature and culture. He was a signatory to our Irish Artists' Pledge for Palestine, and a strong supporter of the Palestinian people. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
This is very sad news. Manchán will be a great loss to the nation and was a treasure trove of knowledge on Irish culture and folklore. I would like to briefly step out of character here and take this moment to urge all men to get the PSA blood test. When caught early, it is very treatable. 1 in 6 of us will be diagnosed with this in our lifetime.
So sad to hear about Manchán Magan going to his heaven he was such a fantabulous human being to the very end.
Who else would have Thirty Two Words for Field or Ninety Nine Words for Rain and make a loaf of bread and a pat of butter in a performance.
Coladh Sámh. RIP Manchán
@eircare @EirCare2 Hi, Amazon Prime is supposed to be free with my package, but it seems to be added to the bill anyway - see below. What's the story with that? Thanks
@eircare when someone rings the landline, or when you hang up from a call, the internet cuts out for about 15mins - this wasn't a big deal til I started to work from home - need to sort this out asap! thanks!

Erin Darcy is a hero, and has done so much by running the "In Her Shoes" Facebook page, giving women a safe space to tell their stories, so that my daughters could live in an Ireland that values them as people, and not as vessels. Read more: https://t.co/USqXlU7Q6C #repealthe8th
