Our hobby is one of the most intellectually rich, technically demanding hobbies on the planet. Using sexualized imagery to “promote” ham radio isn’t promotion…it’s exclusion. It tells young women and girls: this space isn’t for you. Our hobby has a diversity problem. Stunts like this are exactly why. It doesn’t need to be sold with sexualized imagery. it’s degradation of the hobby AND the person. The community must call this out every single time it happens. It’s not edgy. It’s not funny. It’s a door slammed in the face of the next generation.
