@enoughofthis4@do4luv_ This sounds like a good idea and I’d be interested in how you get on. I find self-guided exposures more helpful than ERP itself. I ask myself if I feel able to test out changing something without pressure but can see your way might be helpful! #OCDTalkHour

@enoughofthis4@do4luv_ I might be a bit weird in this sense as I feel like there’s a difference between my actual instincts and OCD ones. I can usually tell when it’s my actual instincts but possible OCD ones are often hazy! #OCDTalkHour

@do4luv_@enoughofthis4 I don’t talk about it much publicly as lots of people find ERP helpful. Hard to summarise but I think hierarchical ERP alone is ineffective long-term. It’s sort of compulsive in itself and quite cruel. Exposures are important but I don’t like ERP in its usual format #OCDTalkHour
