Hi! I wanted to share this doc I've made compiling Phainon's lore and tidbits. Considering how massive his lore is, I understand that it can get rather overwhelming. I hope it'll be useful for fanworks or character analyses.

I love that Phainon's story answers one of the most important questions in existentialism, "In a world that is doomed to destruction, a life that only leads to death, why should we keep on fighting? Why should we hope?"

If even a simulated world is worth fighting and loving for, if even an existence that leads to destruction is worth pursuing. Why shouldn't you pursue your life? Why shouldn't you try to be kind to yourself as well?

This is kind of the message of Amphoreus as a whole as well. You're of course free to have your own views on existence. But I also believe that our hope and struggles are not really meaningless.

Amphoreus' story, in many ways, is a mirror of *our* reality and world. Everyday when you look at the news, you get bombarded with happenings that make you feel despair and helpless. I, for one, often don't see a future for myself in this world. -

I just love phainon so so much, his lore, his story, his writing, his gameplay... talking about him makes me happy, and sharing my thoughts to others does too. Not much else to it, i'm just a yapper with a lot of passion.

Actually, there are a lot more tidbits scattered throughout his story that tell us about Phainon's views on art, and how he sees the world, by extension.. maybe I should gush over it some more because it's one of my favorite things about him

The fact that Phainon is very capable of making aesthetically pleasing things, and very refined ones at that, but would rather be whimsical if it's possible is like one of the sweetest things ever.
