This is really long winded but basically I understand that it's purposely getting some of it wrong because of the setting but others are just overlooked.

@multiplicityand they know it's a dissociative disorder and they have quite a bit of correct information, but so much that's not true as well, like how the trauma was in her adulthood.
The show has poor representation of other conditions as well. I'm really hoping people don't take it as 2/?

So I'm watching Ratched which I'm enjoying, but I'm on ep 5 right now and I want to ask you all what you think about the handling of DID if you've seen Ratched!
So far I feel it's the best representation I've seen and they get some of the facts right, but it's not perfect.

The switches happen instantly which is obviously not accurate at all, there's no blurring or other symptoms so far.
