We sold our best players, went entire windows signing nobody and spent years growing revenue. And wages v revenue is literally the point. What do you want, clubs spending money they can’t afford?

@AVFCMatt1874 It’s really not that complicated. In 23/24 Spurs spent about 45% of revenue on wages. Villa were around 90%.
You spent way ahead of what you earn so you need to sell players.
It’s not favouritism, just maths .

@LastWordOnSpurs Saying that it’s a team full of 80-90m players is a bit of a stretch. Kinsky, Robertson, Moore, senesi, bergvahll were total of about £20m. Richy,Gallagher , tonali, van h, tel I get take the starting 11 to ahout £300m but that still isn’t 90m a player
