@Fwd_Party To continue...I find that school choice a must but it is not giving parents money for charter schools. We need to start re-creating trade schools so there is a choice to college and for people that don't want college to make a decent wage.
@Fwd_Party You gave me only one choice and that is not enough to answer a very complicated issue. Focusing on AI and how will effect the future work force is essential, Getting the best teachers into K-12 is also essential and teacher pay would bring more of the best into these schools.
@Fwd_Party There is no simple answer. I would do all of the first three but would not arbitrarily eliminate benefits for the wealthy. I would give them the opportunity to pay a much higher tax rate with no cap or drop benefits.
@Fwd_Party I'm functioning off investments so retirement losses and medical debt are 1 and 1. Browsing through the comments saw that a no sense one. Forward should be only election reform. Election reform doesn't win elections in Texas. You need Forward people elected, need other issues.
@aaronlfw@RossMoRock This means to that the Ds have to get out and show Harris as a somewhat moderate D to pull in the few independent voters that are undecided. I give Harris a win in the debate but it still remains to be seen just how this affects rhetoric poles.
@aaronlfw@RossMoRock Harris seems to be doing a better job of turning to the middle. Both Harris and Trump were light on policy and many independents that were former Republicans are interested in that. I believe Trump will run from a second debate.
@aaronlfw@RossMoRock Just like the rest of you I watched the debate last night. I believe Harris did what she needed to do. Stand up to what MAGA considers their dynamic, strong and all wise leader and even manipulate him. And as in all presidential elections both started turning to the middle.
@RossMoRock When I read this I don’t disagree that it is wrong but many Progressives want to change the filibuster because it stopped them from passing their legislation. In concept there is no difference. This is just more personal and can be made very visible.
The people that stay happy, that don’t fall into discouragement, are the people that rule over their thoughts, the people that keep their hopes up, the people that know God is still on the throne.
The apostle Paul gives us insight into winning the battle over worry. He says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (Philippians 4:6).
@RossMoRock What you say may be true but the realty is that 72MM people voted for Trump and the House margin was cut by a lot. In order to do a better job of solving the Country’s problems it would be better to be selective on who you want to work with and who you want to demonize.
I just saw that Santelli of CNBC said on air that we should give everyone in the US Corona killing at least 11MM people. This guy must be taken of the air, he’s dangerous
