Trump: If I did meet with the new Ayatollah, I would be honored to meet him.
Doocy: Do you think because Epic Fury killed his killed his dad and his wife and his kid that he's has hard feelings?
Trump: I would say I'm not his favorite person, but with that being said, he's probably a pro—I don't know him—he's probably a professional in some circles, he has a very good reputation actually, you know, sometimes when people say bad, but a lot of people say bad about me . It's totally false, of course.
Welp, that happened faster than I predicted. Thought it would be end of 2027, then early 2027, but agentic traffic growing so fast that bots have now passed human traffic online for the first time in the Internet's history. https://t.co/2zX5bHdhsa
Hamawy served as a combat surgeon in Iraq, which we invaded based on lies told by Ari Fleischer. Hamawy told me yesterday that on heavy days of battle he’d operate on as many as 30-40 American servicemembers, triaging where he had to.
Ari bears significant responsibility for every single one of those maimed men and women that Hamawy worked to save.
Now to have the balls to link him to Al Qaeda is not remotely the most shameful thing he’s done in his life, but it has to be in the top ten.

Sometimes, you don’t hate the bias of the editors at the New York Times enough.
The reporters rightly relegated this guilt-by-association cleric stuff to the 9th paragraph of their piece but the editor made sure it in was the dek of the piece itself on this historic night - above any mention of him treating 9/11 victims, saving Tammy Duckworth’s life, or volunteering to save lives in Gaza.
This is an astoundingly rapid change in something so basic. In 15 years the proportion of people who say college is very important has decreased by more than half.
If this is how they treat Westerners trying to deliver aid to Gazans on a peaceful flotilla, I cannot imagine what they have done to Palestinians.

There needs to start being penalties for wittingly or unwittingly posting AI or AI modified videos. This will create an incentive for people to pause and verify a seemingly unbelievable video before posting.
First off the 90% represents targets not hits. So if they targeted the same thing 100 times but one drone (or zero) actually landed it would count as 100. That’s not real math. Second, the UAE housed US bases, then pushed for and joined the war that the US initiated with their support including the use of their airspace to bomb Iran. If you house bases that are used to launch a war on another country and then join that war I don’t see how you can claim self-defense when retaliated against. It’s just war at that point.
The United Arab Emirates carried out dozens of airstrikes against Iran beginning in the early days of the war and continuing through the day after the cease-fire was announced, a deeper involvement than was previously known. https://t.co/bks22Iwftr
1) Hello? The UAE was the one attacking Yemen in support of the Saudi led bombing coalition that led to hundreds of thousands dead.
2) The data here is not clear, the attacks on bases are not being reported while reports of strikes on infrastructure are, which makes this even more difficult to tease out. That said, the casualty count is at least 2 orders of magnitude lower than in Iran.
3) Im not trying to justify anything, in my reply to you I specifically said it may not have been justified under INTL law.
4) I'm not supporting Iran, I'm opposing the UAE's role in a regime change war on them. But I am surprised you are supporting the UAE who not only joined the years long bombing of Yemen but also bankrolled the RSF massacres and displacement in Sudan.
@shaunmmaguire@rabois Nice try Shaun. It's literally a highlighted screenshot from The Economist (which is linked in the tweet):

@amisraelhigh@rabois You may want to take two more seconds to read the tweet. The quote is from The Economist which Dropsite is highlighting and linking to: https://t.co/sNOkJEtm0x
Shaun, I was good with your civil reply up until the last unnecessary sentence but I'll reply anyway as I believe in dialogue.
Couple thoughts:
1) The initial attack on Iran which the US/Israel initiated used logistical support from the UAE and the UAE was a powerful voice pushing Trump to attack Iran. I'm not certain if that is sufficient to pass international legal standards for a right to retaliation, it may not. But I don't think the UAE can claim innocent victimhood either.
2) The majority of the missiles and drones were targeting US bases and other military targets in the UAE. Civilian infrastructure targets were hit only after Iran's were struck. As far as I know, not a single Emirati civilian has been killed so far.
3) Clearly the WSJ considered this newsworthy as the UAE has been denying being involved in direct attacks.
