@Ryan_Daigler Flying monkeys pay emotional debts to the narcissist by enabling and justifying their abuse on the victim and being incapable of questioning perverse behavior, even if it was obvious.
It makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up to hear one human being speak about another this way. Hannah Arendt’s warning about the “banality of evil” was that evil does not always reside in monsters; it often emerges through ordinary people who cease to regard another person as fully human. This is not genocide, but describing someone as damaged, diseased and beyond redemption is precisely the kind of dehumanising language from which far worse things can grow.
It’s over. Italian Mario Roggero, 72 years old, has been sentenced to 14 years and 9 months in prison (and to a multi-million-euro compensation payout to the robbers’ families), effectively a life sentence at his age.
A hardworking, law-abiding man who worked for 49 years without a single crime on his record. Now he faces jail for killing the robbers who attacked his family.
He protected his wife and daughter from three violent thugs who had beaten and terrorized them. After yet another brutal robbery, he chased them into the street with his gun, killing two and wounding the third.
The shooting happened after the robbers had left the shop and were fleeing, which is why the courts rejected the claim of full legitimate self-defense. However, Mario maintains that he feared they might return or that they had taken his wife.
This is the Italian justice system, a complete disgrace and a shameful failure.
Una forma muy eficaz de obtener poder consiste en convencer a personas que viven del esfuerzo ajeno de que, en realidad, ellas son las principales víctimas del sistema.
What makes a narcissist happy is not what makes you happy.
You think happiness is connection. Peace. Being loved for who you are. Accomplishment. Genuine intimacy.
A narcissist doesn’t experience any of those as happiness.
What makes a narcissist happy is something else entirely: the absence of the void through domination.
Let me be clear about what this means:
A narcissist experiences an internal emptiness. A nothing. An absence of genuine self. That emptiness is intolerable. So they spend their entire life doing whatever it takes to not feel it.
Happiness, for a narcissist, is not the presence of something good. It’s the temporary escape from something unbearable. And that escape comes through control.
When they have power over you, when you’re dependent on them, when you’re unsure of reality because of their gaslighting, when you’ve arranged your life around their preferences, that’s when they feel something approaching happiness.
Not because they love you. But because your servitude silences the void.
You’re asking: what makes them happy? The answer is: your suffering. Your confusion. Your dependence. Your submission.
That’s not a character flaw. That’s their operating system.
And understanding this changes how you see their behavior. Every manipulation, every lie, every attack, these aren't random. They're all designed to keep you in the position that makes them feel less empty.
That's what happiness looks like for them: you small enough, confused enough, dependent enough that they don't have to face themselves.
An accurate diagnosis. People who lack personal sovereignty try to manufacture fake Rina (karmic debt). Because they can’t generate real value, they try to weaponize guilt to force an energetic payout. A master strategist reads their chart immediately: it’s the ultimate hallmark of a stagnant mind with no authentic leverage left. You owe them absolutely nothing.
When you share children within this dynamic, the strategy must shift to absolute psychological and emotional containment. In this situation you can only parallel-parent.
1. Accept that your co-parenting partner will likely never see your humanity, and will continue to frame your boundaries as bad parenting. Stop defending yourself, explaining your choices, or over-communicating. Keep every interaction strictly transactional, documented, and focused solely on logistics (dates, times, medical facts). When you refuse to participate in the moral theatre, their narrative loses its fuel.
2. Children who grow up within this dynamic doubt their own perceptions. You do not need to attack or bad-mouth the other parent; doing so only feeds into their narrative that you are the toxic one. Instead, become an unshakeable anchor for objective truth. Validate your children’s feelings, model emotional safety, and teach them to trust their own senses.
3. Parallel parenting means you operate as two entirely separate entities. You cannot control the delusional theatrics or masked hostility that happens under their roof, but you have 100% control over the environment under yours. Focus entirely on making your home a sanctuary of genuine empathy, emotional honesty, and radical transparency.
You may still be in the same legal radius, but you must completely remove yourself from their psychological matrix. Your environment should exclusively reflect a safe space for your own healing and your children's development; do not waste your energy trying to reform a closed conscience.
Please hold grace for yourself, because carrying this out is incredibly difficult. Holding an unyielding boundary while someone actively distorts your character to your own children requires superhuman emotional discipline. There will be days when the grief and exhaustion feel heavy.
But remember: children do not need a perfect, conflict-free childhood. They need at least one psychologically integrated, safe parent to anchor them to reality. By maintaining your alignment, you will provide them with that anchor. You are doing the heaviest, holiest work there is. You are not alone, and you are strong enough to see this through.
The Egyptian Football Association released a video titled: “The Secret to Victory.”
They openly declare that the key to victory is to begin each match by cursing Christians and Jews.
Before every game, the team gathers to recite Quranic passages describing Christians and Jews as infidels under Allah’s wrath.
Coptic Christians make up 15% of Egypt’s population, yet they are not allowed on the national team.
Now, the Islamic team of Egypt has been eliminated by the ‘infidel’ nation of Argentina. Allah was not on their side.
Parece que ya no alcanza con ser hombre. Ahora hay que aprobar un examen ideológico para demostrar que uno es de los ‘buenos’. Ridículos, si habrá cosas importantes para preocuparse y hacer
@The_Exit_Code Maybe the ‘friend’ and the narcissist share a filthy secret that binds them in a pact. Exposure cuts both ways, so loyalty becomes self-preservation. It’s not just fear of the narcissist’s rage — it’s terror of their own dirt coming out. Two snakes clutching each other’s masks.
