@SeveranceTVnews@WRAL@WRALDoc Please don't disclose others' medical histories. Did you ask the anchor's mother for permission to reveal her pancreatic cancer battle? I felt bad for them both. You're not having a discussion in private; it's televised, and his mother is a private citizen. It's disrespectful.
@VivekGRamaswamy Teaching isn't like a regular business and can not be run like a business. I'm not sure why people can't wrap their brains around that fact, but it's true. There are too many factors involved consistently to make this fair.
Pagans understand the threat of Christianity more than some Christians understand the civilization-forming power of their own faith. Otherwise the pagans would not mock it like we saw on the Olympics.

7 prayers for this week:

“Put false ways far from me.”
“Incline my heart to you.”
“Enlarge my heart.”
(Psalm 119)

2. Friends can wait.
3. Introduce a newcomer to someone else.

Many [church members] rely on their sanctification for justification...drawing their assurance of acceptance with God from their sincerity, their past experience of conversion...[and] the relative infrequency of their conscious, willful disobedience. - R.Lovelace
@zugzwanged Not me thinking you were making a social comintary on the ridiculous constraints and expectations put on American teachers if they were put in to another context. Then realizing you were sincere. 😅🥴
"I need help in order to worship God. Nothing helps me more than the Psalms....They speak for me to God--that is, they say what I often want to say, but for which I cannot find words." ~Elisabeth Elliot
