Harriet Vickers

Home is Deptford. I make films, podcasts and textile things.

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

@AngelOlsen Can I assume from no reply that they're not ethically made...?

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

@AngelOlsen Love these! Are they made by workers paid a fair wage, and in an environmentally friendly way? Important for me to know, and there's no info on this on the website...

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

@Royal_Greenwich Hi, will the Greenwich foot tunnel be open during the week soon? Because it is shut I have to use public transport for many essential journeys, rather than walking or cycling.

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

@lionel_stanhope Thank you for listening and acting

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

@lionel_stanhope @helenmurraypix @artmember209 @ibrim @speediemeadie @samtkerridge @NathanBowenArt Has this event been organised by the Council or Peabody?

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

@lionel_stanhope @helenmurraypix @artmember209 @ibrim @speediemeadie @samtkerridge @NathanBowenArt Will this be on the hoardings, do you know the history of the site? It's a heavily opposed redevelopment which will demolish people's homes and a much loved community garden (used by lots of artists + musicians).

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

@TimDawsn It's [email protected]

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

@TimDawsn Oh hello! Yes, that's me, have messaged you my email

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

@Joe_Dromey @oldtidemillgrdn @under_siege_SE8 @MRLibDem @LewishamCouncil @PaulBell1971 @damienegan @Brenda_Dacres If you want to help stop using this for political one up man ship, and to try and smear @oldtidemillgrdn and follow up on why I haven’t had a response.

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

@Joe_Dromey @oldtidemillgrdn @under_siege_SE8 @MRLibDem @LewishamCouncil @PaulBell1971 @damienegan @Brenda_Dacres The eviction and the security since has been traumatic. It’s not easy to re live that by writing it all down, especially when the people you’re sending it to people from the Council, and the Council ordered the eviction. And horrible for that to not be responded to.

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

@Joe_Dromey @oldtidemillgrdn @under_siege_SE8 @MRLibDem @LewishamCouncil @PaulBell1971 @damienegan @Brenda_Dacres I also asked what were the plans for the investigation, and emailed him again a couple of weeks ago asking when he would let me know. Still nothing. I do feel ignored. Is anything happening? Are they taking it seriously?

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

@Joe_Dromey @oldtidemillgrdn @under_siege_SE8 @MRLibDem @LewishamCouncil @PaulBell1971 @damienegan @Brenda_Dacres I’m hardly on Twitter these days but this has annoyed me enough to come on. I sent Kevin a long email with the details of how one of the bailiffs assaulted me at the eviction, nearly a month ago now. I’ve heard nothing, not even to let me know he got it.

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

@PilgrimTucker You know we're not even getting the day off right? HEADS ON THE BLOCK

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

[Harriet Vickers @harrietvickers]

[Naomi Klein @NaomiAKlein]

Don't talk about guns after a massacre. Or climate change after storms. Or austerity after firetrap buildings burn. Talk when no one listens
