Oh Sam, seeing your limbs broken has me feeling broken beyond belief.
I’ve been replaying all our dancing and walking sessions. I kept wishing I had documented more of those moments.
You always told me to stay strong but the state you’re in has broken me. You’re in my prayers💙
Aloikin Praise was not born a fearless activist, the conditions she went through made her. Her story, is the story of many young girls and women in this country. The difference lies in the choice to speak or remain silent. @AloikinOpoloje chose the earlier.

Comrade Sam Mugumya has been taken to lower Mbuya basement. All his former guards were arrested last night and taken to SFC for statements pending court martial.
Last week while at a supermarket in town, some man appeared to be following me. He would look at me, then when I looked at him he would look the other way. When I got to the counter to pay, he came and stood at the side of the counter for a moment, then he asked: “Are you Dr Spire”. I reluctantly said yes. He grinned a little and said nothing else. As I was getting to pay, he said: “Just go, I will pay”. That was it, he said nothing else after paying the 155,000/. Not even his name. Whoever you were, thank you. Now, while such offers from strangers have happened several times, this was a bit creepy!
The disappeared Ugandans filmed in that torture house in Entebbe were relocated to Bombo Military barracks last night and now have new guards from Kaweweta Samora and Ruhenjere training school. Sam Mugumya was relocated to Mbuya near CMI.
"I fought Idi Amin, was I safe? I fought Milton Obote for five years. I would rather die on my feet fighting than live on my knees begging," says Gen Kahinda Otafiire as he distances self from PLU.

Bobi Wine was so sure when he said that it is the good officers in the army that help him and his team to beat the security intelligence! I’ve never doubted my President!
Bonga na Mabonga!
Here is a letter which Lt. Mabonga Herbert Matanda wrote to Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi while he was in that torture chamber, where he spent 19 days. He passed on the original letter to him, but took a picture of it, which he released yesterday.
Mabonga represents thousands of senior, mid-level and junior officers in all departments of UPDF, police and intelligence services who vehemently oppose the criminal system but are held captive and cannot speak out. The only difference is that Mabonga had the courage to speak out. We have long told the people of Uganda that each time we're arrested or abducted, these officers will approach us and tell us how they're more disgusted by the system than most people can imagine.
Those who agree with the system and its atrocities are a very small fraction who are privileged and benefit from the pervasive corruption and nepotism within the forces. I remain hopeful that one day, the patriotic officers will have enough courage to stand with the oppressed people of Uganda and live true to their oath to pay allegiance to the nation of Uganda and not the falling regime of blood and national shame. UGANDA WILL BE FREE!
A high-profile election petition challenging the victory of National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidate Fred Ruhindi in Nakawa East Constituency took a dramatic turn at the High Court after a key electoral official admitted that results from 22 polling stations were excluded from the final tally.

@josedablogga Blad naawe..., if at all you knew, kibadde kigenda kuyambila wa omuntu wa bulijjo, oba kale abazadde abazza abaana kumasomero. Try to speak for impact, not for likes. Sense instead of gossip. Why can't we do better?

I see now why the Queen Mother kept details about the baby and her son's well-being private. People can hold a grudge for a long time, but by God's grace, she prevailed before and she will prevail again.
