It's fine! According to you, there's no wind of change. According to me, there's a president that has lost popularity and will not be reelected, wind or no wind
At the moment, my greatest worry is that, if those that proffer themselves as possessing the intellect to solve national problems, coin meaningless slogans like "salt sana" and are proud about it! Contrast that with Given Mwenya Chansa's "Ibombele uchindame".
@LankyObserver Mwenya Musenge now has his own political party, registered by the same registrar that has maintained him as an official in the NDC of Saboi Imboela, despite the latter having made presentations to have the records amended. Isn't that madness? Which is being used?
@ssishuwa Venomous responses are always an indication that the hidden truth has been laid bare and can't be defended. So the perpetrators will cry blue murder. An MP once lost his life when he called his friend as a land thief. He was hit with a bar stool on the head and never recovered.
3000 junkies coopted into the Zambia Police Service is a disaster. Yet, at some point in future we'll wonder why we ended up with such a police service. This isn't the meritocracy we were promised
The old broken political record has started to repeat itself. It's the same song but different players. They had asked KK to reign forever, wamuyayaya. Then they eliminated the opposition. They said it was for peace, unity & development. They're shouting "remove the term limits!"
Unfortunately for Zambia, we have invested so much into politics. We intend to invest more, what with the expanded parley and delimitation? The tragedy is that political space is full of lunatics! We're fast gliding into a national of honourable lunatics
@MGCHANSA Don't you think it's the unemployment levels that are the main cause? The highest qualification for most aspiring candidates is GCE. They don't have any skills. All they can do with 5 o'levels is become councillors or get to Parley to talk nonsense and get well paid
@DiggersOfNews It's likely that they just don't trust you enough for them to put their hard earned money on you. It's not enough to just stand up and say chite has failed so try me! What's your agenda? Show us your manifesto, at least
The PF has been a toxic political party that has done more harm to Zambia's political landscape. We'll not miss them. The UPND have also embraced the evil PF tactics. We won't miss them either. Both should rest in peace
@MbalaMafia7 That would be a political blunder, looking at the current trend. Both President and VP can't hail from the same region. Whom do you expect to understand that?
The PF introduced the practice of not issuing membership cards to their subscribers. Today, the culture of annual membership renewal and payment of subscriptions has died. It seems everyone has embraced this evil, just like many others introduced by the hooligans in the PF.
Good morning Mr President Sir @HHichilema,
We, who are not part of your government, have known this and have been saying this consistently while we come under attack from your advisors and your supporters.
Recently for example, I commented on the ongoing road constructions between Lusaka and Ndola.
I am not sure when the last time you drove on that road but I see your supporters and advisors claiming over 80% of it is done.
Sir, I have recently driven on that road twice in both directions and I even have some video footage of sections of it.
In truth less than 40% of it is actually done and you hardly find anyone working along major parts of it.
Either some equipment is parked or a few folks just wondering about - no serious construction work is visibly going on and it is hard to tell what time the actual construction work actually takes place.
That is just one example out of so many instances of slow functioning of government operations across so many agencies.
I am glad you have finally noticed and accepted this reality.
I invite you to read our MEE manifesto, published on the link provided below Sir.
In it you will find that we have set out a rather much more ambitious program of road construction and with greater urgency noting for example that:
The construction works will proceed at pace operating three eight-hour shifts, 24 hours, 7 days a week. On our tours around the country, it has been baffling to witness construction works that appear almost always at stand-still. One wonders when the actual construction actually takes place and it is hard to grasp such a lack of urgency and an understanding that the time element is a very critical component of project delivery – anything may well get delivered eventually but without a time component to that delivery, the estimated true cost of project delivery would be wholly inadequate. Machines do not get tired, humans do – thus we must keep machines running continuously. In MEE, we also have a very clear understanding that the actual infrastructure construction program is not the end, it is merely a means to an end, and we must therefore construct the much-needed infrastructure at pace in time for real economic gains to kick in. Thus, under the MEE government, this massive road construction program will proceed under an antslike human-work-chain from one district to the next in the biggest road construction program in the history of our country.
What you have acknowledge now Mr President has been known to us for a while now and we even have that stated in our manifesto as shared above.
We invite you to read our full manifesto published here.
