@howtogeek Nonsense. It depends on the user requirements, and in particular the building environment. Many networks are tested perfect conditions? When was the last time you installed a network in a house built in 1780 with 500mm stone walls?
@TracketPacer We made the mistake once, early days, with CCA. Will never touch it again.
We'd rather walk away from a job than deal with it. Just not worth it.
Good solid core ethernet is the foundation of your network.
@denisebarbour@Blonde_Nutter We've installed Internet and hardwired WiFi in houses built in 1780. It can be done. Feel free to get it touch if would like some advice
@BigBearF1 That wouldn't work @BigBearF1 We've installed #homenetwork solutions on farms in the past.
The best way for a stable connection is to run POE ethernet to acsess points.
@SBarrettBar The old HP Laser jet II were pretty indestructible.
Some of the old dot matrix printers would run for years printing multi-sheet invoices. Sometimes the print heads would have to be replaced as the pins wore out.
