Look at what reason built. The skyline, the engine, the vaccine, the satellite, the machine that computes what no man could alone. None of it fell from the sky. Each was wrenched from nature by a mind that refused to accept anything but the truth.
Now imagine what we could build if enough men threw off the chains our culture hands them: the faith that tells them to stop asking, the guilt that tells them their success is a sin, the creed that says living for yourself is wrong.
Free those minds and there is no limit to what comes next.
Javier Milei: “I thought being on the left was a mental problem. The empirical evidence is so overwhelming that it never worked anywhere, and they refused to accept it.”
“But what I discovered is that being on the left is a disease of the soul. The left is built on envy, hatred, resentment, and unequal treatment under the law. They are very violent, and since they have no way or arguments to answer, they go for physical violence.”
@Laurieluvsmolly@GovPressOffice Uh huh. Can you tell me what a woman is?
You haven't had any right to call anyone else stupid or uninformed for a couple of years, now.
"Debt slavery" is often just a moral rebranding of personal responsibility.
Nobody forced you to finance the car, take the loan, max out the credit card, or sign the mortgage. The debt didn't enslave you. Your own choices obligated you.
Real slavery is having your labor claimed by someone else without consent.
Debt is the opposite. You voluntarily agreed to receive value now in exchange for repayment later.
Calling that "slavery" doesn't expose exploitation. It exposes a refusal to distinguish between coercion and consequences.
Still blows my mind that someone made a setting where Christianity is fighting the forces of Hell in brutal trench warfare, then threw a tantrum that it was attracting edgy Christians.
That's like making a game about sexualized, anthropomorphic animals and then getting mad that Furries show up in droves. Who the fuck did you think the audience would be?
@ENJU1123PIPI The movie Serenity had an amazing bit about it.
"In certain cultures, when men failed as entirely as you have, they would throw themselves onto their swords."
"Well I didn't bring my sword!"
*pulls out sword*

Socialists don't measure success by whether a problem gets solved. They measure success by whether money was redistributed to a cause they approve of.
Public education is a perfect example. Spend more, get worse results, demand even more spending.
The results are optional. The spending is the achievement. The goal isn't solving the problem. It's proving the state's good intentions with someone else's money.
@RockChartrand The taking is the point. The spending is a convenient excuse, but it's only an excuse for the taking.
"They do not want your wealth; they want you to lose it.
They do not want to live; they want you to die."
Rent is an incentive for people to build or purchase properties that they will not occupy themselves. Absent that incentive, the only people who would have housing would be people who could afford to build or purchase housing exclusively for themselves.
Profit is a reward for ability, competence, and risk-taking ambition. Absent that incentive, no one would spend fortunes starting businesses and employing people. There would be no businesses, no goods, and no employment.
Interest is rent on money. Absent that incentive, no one would lend money.
Socialists complaining about theft is always amusing.
The abolition of private property is one of the defining principles of communism.
Capitalism exists to protect ownership. Communism exists to abolish it.
One says, "Keep what you earn."
The other says, "What you've earned belongs to the collective."
If your ideology starts with the premise that ownership itself is illegitimate, accusations of theft start sounding a little hollow.
@DelusionPosting This is the wrongest of all wrong opinions. Literally every mass starvation in the last hundred years was from communist or socialist states.
@nurityohanan It's almost like the Israelis are afraid of random Palestinians trying to break into Israel. But why would that be???
No Palestinian has ever gone on a mass rape and murder spree after successfully infiltrating Israel, right?
Morons.
Again, ignoring the Dread Pirate Roberts and the arresting of a Communist dictator.
And by "not in our best interests" I assume I'm speaking to one of these illiterate children who believe that the fucking Iranian terror regime is a cuddly organization that's never hurt any Americans before?
Am I speaking to a brain dead child or a Pakistani bot?
The thing that you need to understand is that for hundreds of years, the people who were scrappy, innovative problem solvers…left
They came to America
The people left in Europe can’t install AC because they’re descendants of a people who couldn’t buy boat tickets
Which anyone pretending to be remotely anti-Communist (or just have a basic grasp of economic principles) would know is incredibly important for economic growth, in addition to the moral fact that everyone has the right to engage in whatever trades other people are willing to do with them.
So moneylending (or "usury") is the beating heart of a Capitalist system and never to be attacked or besmirched. RIGHT mister "anti-Communist"?
@protakill@jeffersonation1@YoungRightUS Whatever you say, bud.
Now how about the constitutionality of usury? Because you are not what you are pretending to be and I'd just like to expose that very quickly.
