@WaskoDr @ChinookSD @CSPLeaders@SMA_docs@CMA_Docs@LaurelS12 @Tsl239Tara This was the best experience in patient/community advocacy I have had in my experience as a resident physician. I am very proud of the physicians in our community!
Great opportunity to help inspire resource stewardship and continue my involvement with @ChooseWiselyCA ! Sure wish I could get the ‘CW’ right though.. #MedEd
Today was the final #choosingwisely STARS 2020/21 summit - thank you to this fearless, committed & creative group of student leaders who advanced resource stewardship in #meded nationally & locally over past year. And special thanks to faculty incl STARS alumni & resident leaders!

Resident physician @HARRISONEMMETT shares his experience in the family medicine/emergency medicine program in Swift Current, and why he's deciding to train in this specialty. #ResidentAwarenessWeek https://t.co/1xi8iLPSgj

Synchronous Teaching and Learning https://t.co/NGOOz9nvv8 via @YouTube. I didn’t know what I was doing wrong with online Med teaching until Dr. MacNeill showed us how to do it right. Thanks @ChooseWiselyCA
@drfjgarcia Entrepreneurship - I got to meet Brett Wilson through my grade 12 Junior Achievement program. I would love to learn the leadership skills business folk do. Learning to sell yourself in a 1 min “Dragons Den” pitch could come in handy too regardless of your career path.
Let’s improve our efforts Saskatchewan. As a front-line healthcare worker I have seen first hand there is more work that needs to be done. Please review the following:

Happy to have taken part in Choosing Wisely Medical Student & Resident Leaders STARS Summit! A successful event despite the Summit not being in Ottawa, but rather at home via Zoom. I left inspired to improve Canadian Health through QI and start initiatives back home.
Our fall 2020 #choosingwisely STARS Leadership Summit has started! No one better to kick it off than @ChrisMoriates keynote on lead from where you stand to a full Zoom room of Canadian medical student & resident leaders ⭐🍁
@ElaineBlau @srpc_residents I think we need to train in a similar rural work environment we will practice ie. 24 hours on call. We will also miss out on important learning opportunities that happen at all hours of the day since in a rural environment you are working intermittently during the 24 hours.
To the paramedics that drove my palliative care patient one last time around the lake prior to transfer to the hospital... she reminisced about it in her last days of life. Thank-you for being human 💙
