🚨🗣️ | Jurgen Klopp heaps praises on Arsenal Fans for how they reacted towards Gabriel after the penalty miss in the UEFA Champions League Final:
“I have to say something about this because, wow. Just... wow.
after the final, I am opening my phone, yeah? I look at Instagram, Facebook, Twitter whatever you call it and for years, all you see from the media is, 'Oh, Arsenal fans are insufferable. Arsenal fans are the most annoying, they are the worst in the world.' They give them this tag, this massive negative label. And you start to think, okay, maybe they are a bit intense.
But then, I see what happened after the Champions League final.
Gabriel misses the penalty. A massive, massive moment. A trophy the club has been dying to win for decades. Normally, in modern football? It is a disaster for the player. Normal reaction from fans today is anger, threats, terrible abuse on social media. It’s ugly. It is the side of football I hate.
But what do the Arsenal fans do? They do the complete opposite. They shower the boy with love! I heard his shirt sales went up by 350% in twenty-four hours because the fans are just buying his jersey to say, 'We are with you.'
Are you kidding me? I have been in football for a very long time, and I have never seen anything like this before. Never. To show that level of class, that level of unconditional love when your heart is completely broken? It gave me goosebumps.
It shows me that everything people say online about Arsenal fans... it’s a total misconception. They have been judged so, so harshly. If a fanbase can react to a heartbreak like that by wrapping their arms around a player instead of tearing him down, then let me tell you they are nothing like what the media says. They are not insufferable. They are special. It’s beautiful, absolutely beautiful”
🚨 Mikel Arteta at Arsenal’s title parade:
🗣️ “We made history again, together. I couldn’t be prouder of everyone connected to this football club. Enjoy this moment because you’ve earned it.
There have been so many emotions, joy, pride, and relief. I’m still the same person, but today I’m a much happier one. What I told the players is that this shirt means something different now. We are champions, and that brings confidence, belief, and responsibility.
But this is not the end. Our job now is to maintain those standards and keep pushing for more because this team is capable of achieving even greater things. Next time, I want this parade with two big trophies.” 🏆🏆🔴⚪️
🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: More than 2 million fans have attended the Arsenal parade today!
There isn't even room to walk. Media from all over the world are here. Gabriel is dancing. Arteta has a cigar in hand.
This is LARGEST parade in Football history!
🚨🎙️ | Wayne Rooney on the controversial decisions in the UEFA Champions League Final:
🗣️ “People will celebrate PSG winning the Champions League, and fair enough, but deep down everybody knows Arsenal were on the wrong side of some shocking decisions.
That Madueke incident? If that happened to PSG, the referee points to the spot in two seconds.
You cannot convince me otherwise.
VAR was introduced to stop robberies in football, yet somehow Arsenal still got robbed on the biggest stage in club football.
And the worst part? By next week people will forget the decisions and only remember who lifted the trophy.
That’s football unfortunately.
I’ve seen finals decided by moments, but this one felt decided by fear from the officials. Nobody wanted to make the big call for Arsenal.
If Arsenal had gotten that penalty, the pressure changes completely. PSG panic. The momentum shifts. The entire story of the final could’ve changed.
But once again, Arsenal were expected to just accept it and move on quietly.”
🚨🎙️| Thierry Henry calls out Qatar and PSG robbery. 🔥🔥
🗣️“if I speak about that performance from the referee tonight, Qatar will knock on my door tomorrow morning. the last time I witnessed something like this in a final was against Barcelona. For how long are PSG allowed to do this to teams? I do not wanna speak”
🚨🗣️ Luis Enrique on Mikel Arteta and Arsenal FC:
“Arsenal currently has the best team in the world. We beat Bayern comfortably, but Arsenal were a completely different challenge.
They were attacking from the first minute to the last minute. Their intensity, pressing, and movement made it incredibly difficult for us to settle into the game. Every time we thought we had control, they found a way to put us under pressure again.
You can see the work Mikel Arteta has done with this team. They are organized, aggressive, and full of confidence. They have quality in every area of the pitch, and they never stop competing.
We got the result, but Arsenal pushed us to our limits. If they continue playing at this level, they will be contenders for every major trophy.”
🚨🗣️ Ian Wright BLASTS UEFA and referee Daniel Siebert after Arsenal were denied a late corner before half-time
🗣️ Wright: “I don't understand it. Arsenal are literally setting up for a corner kick and the referee blows for half-time.”
“How can you deny a team an attacking opportunity like that?”
“This is the Champions League, not a Sunday kickabout.”
“If you've allowed the play to reach that point, let the corner be taken.”
“Fans pay money to watch football decided by players, not by unnecessary whistle timings.”
“It's small moments like these that change matches.”
“UEFA needs consistency because supporters and players deserve better.”
BREAKING 🚨 The Kroenke’s Message To The Arsenal Family.
To our players, staff, and the incredible Arsenal family,
🗣️Yesterday’s result was a painful one, but pain is part of the journey when you’re building something lasting. We’ve come too far, worked too hard, and grown too much as a group to let one defeat define us.
🗣️This team has shown character, resilience, and real quality all season. We’ve earned the right to be fighting at the highest level, and that doesn’t change because of a single bad night. The standards we’ve set remain. The belief is still there. The hunger is even stronger.
🗣️To the players: rest, recover, and refocus. We back you completely. Use this as fuel. The bigger picture is still very much alive, and the opportunity ahead is one this club has waited a long time for.
🗣️To our supporters: thank you. Your passion and loyalty, even in disappointment, is what makes this club special. We feel it, we appreciate it, and we’re determined to give you moments worthy of that support.
🗣️We are building something special here. Together. No standing still. Let’s channel everything into the weeks ahead and get ready to celebrate what we know this group is capable of.
Onward. The parade is still on.
Come on you Gunners.
Stan And Josh Kroenke.
🚨🗣️ Thierry Henry: “I don't usually talk about referees, but Arsenal were incredibly unlucky tonight. The penalty incident was clear to me, and the halftime whistle just before a dangerous set-piece was difficult to understand. After that, it felt like every important decision went PSG's way. Arsenal never got the consistency they deserved from the officials. PSG will celebrate the trophy, but the refereeing will be one of the biggest talking points of this final.”
🚨 Mesut Özil Slams Referee After Arsenal's Controversial Champions League Final Defeat
🗣️: "I have watched football for many years, and I understand that referees can make mistakes. Nobody expects perfection. But tonight, it genuinely felt like Arsenal were fighting against more than just PSG.
The incident involving Madueke was a clear penalty for me. In any other game, anywhere else on the pitch, that contact is given as a foul immediately. I struggle to understand how the referee saw it and decided there was nothing there. Even more surprising was the lack of intervention. Moments like that can completely change a final.
What frustrated me most was the consistency. Every important decision seemed to go against Arsenal. Small fouls were given one way but not the other. Challenges that deserved bookings were ignored. Every 50-50 call appeared to favour PSG. As a player, that is incredibly difficult because you begin to feel that no matter what you do, the decisions are not going your way.
A Champions League final should be decided by the players, the coaches and the football itself, not by controversial refereeing decisions. Arsenal may not have played their best game, but they still deserved a fair opportunity to compete. When such a clear penalty is not awarded, people are always going to ask questions.
I feel sorry for the players because they worked all season to reach this stage. You can accept losing when the better team wins fairly, but it is much harder to accept when major decisions leave a cloud over the result. For me, Arsenal deserved that penalty on Madueke, and they deserved much better from the officials tonight."
📲 Aaron Ramsdale on Instagram: “These two boys I love! I’m proud of you no matter what! Big nuts to step up and take one. The rest of my mates I’m proud of you, you’ll be back!” ❤️
My beloved Arsenal fans.. Don’t be too disappointed… Be proud of this team and everything they’ve achieved. Keep believing and keep supporting them the way you always do. We are in the right direction. I’m so happy I got to experience this game from the stands with the Arsenal family for the very first time ❤️ Thank you for the incredible welcome and all the love. You made me feel like I’m really one of you, next year will be our time. Love you Gunners 🙏❤️
Heartbreak. The worst way to lose. But what a season it’s been. Can’t wait for tomorrow. Give these champions the support and reception they deserve around the streets of north London.
Arsene Wenger after the game:
We reached the final and gave everything we had, but I cannot help feeling that the game was influenced by more than just the football. There were decisions that went against Arsenal at crucial moments, and from where I stand, two penalty incidents deserved much closer attention, especially the challenge on Saka in the second half.
I am proud of this team. They showed courage, quality, character and the fighting spirit that Arsenal supporters expect. When you lose a Champions League final, it is painful. When key moments leave you with questions, the disappointment is even greater.
Congratulations to PSG on winning the trophy. But I believe Arsenal deserved the opportunity to compete on equal terms until the very end.
To the players: keep your heads high. Great teams are built through moments like this. Use the pain, learn from it, and come back stronger.
COYG ❤️
