Preliminary results from last night seem positive! Tonight's another cold night, but should be a little easier. Almost there, come on little peaches. https://t.co/uwatgf2e8q
Things I don't know how to fix:
health care
Afghanistan
climate change
racism
polarization
my fucking refrigerator
inequality
terrorism
On a good day, I have a few ideas about food, but it's taken me 20 years on the beat to get there. The more I know, the fewer opinions I have.
Female farmers!
Could you take a minute to reply with a photo telling me who you are, what and where you farm?
A follower has a young daughter who was sad because she was told farming is for boys…but seeing us lady farmers bossing it is helping to change that! 🧑🏼🌾 💃
Yesterday we had a fox caught in the electric fence. We all agreed that spending the night getting zapped by the fence was probably punishment enough. @coparkswildlife came over with the dont-get-bit staff and we got the fox untangled.

@cestmoiLanglois I ask myself this everytime I travel for Farmers Union. I think its more comfortable for everyone when I get a hotel room, but the late night chats, relationships with colleagues families, and the chance to get to know friends and members more intimately is sooo valuable.
Too many people with ideas for how to "fix the food system" have the certitude of a freshman college student on their first visit home for Thanksgiving. If you think the answers are simple and don't mention trade-offs, I simply don't trust you.
Can't help be a little giddy to be hanging out and schmoozing with the legendary Allan Savory before his @coloradofoodfarmforum presentation. #cool https://t.co/X5V8I8otni

This is George Roberts of Circle R Ranch. He loves his family & his farm. It has been in his family for 3 generations. But because banks & the government refuse to lend him money he needs our help to keep his farm.
