@damiendc_@FrankieBorrelli Well for one, I believe that Clark example was actually on camera (but either wasn’t called in or wasn’t deemed conclusive enough). Russ’s point in the video was more around players off-camera committing hypothetical infractions. For which I refer you to my prior comments
@damiendc_@FrankieBorrelli Every player is still equally bound to not break the rule, he just got caught. Thats not an unfair rule it just means the other guys weren’t caught
Germany Captain Joshua Kimmich had to look for someone to take the 6th penalty
Jonathan Tah eventually stepped up for the first penalty attempt of his career
@connorwreckoner@HabsOnReddit His right skate got pushed in behind him, hence why one of the best skaters on the ice loses control and crashes into the goalie. I would refer you to his first NHL goal to see an alternate outcome.
@CarterChase5@DrakeMT he lost control because the other D’s skate pushes in Demi’s right skate, causing him to lose his wide base (which I don’t think is a penalty on the Lightning, but could excuse Demi’s interference penalty). Not an easy call
If you watch the replay it wasn’t the cross check. They got awkwardly tied up, bedard gets hurt, then he falls back as the cross check comes. The cross check was also on the other shoulder
