@LifeOutside2017 I’ve been out of the office now for 25 years but talking to staff and prisoners rules for closed prisons are now imposed on open prisoners. Really? Where/how is self responsibility to develop in a situation supposedly designed for testing this.

@John_Podmore Those were the days. As Courts gov together with JB Security gov summoned to by judge sitting at St Albans CrCt. Given suitable dressing down we were then invited to join judges for lunch. How very English and civilised. I’m sure there is a book here if anyone cared to collect.
