@justdavenow89 Correction - Farage is the worst thing yet to happen to this country. He is the inevitable car crash approaching us in slow motion. Unless he is stopped in his tracks.
Henry Nowak's father outside court yesterday: "We do not want Henry's murder to be used to create further hatred, division or tension"
Today Farage calling for pure cold hard rage.
- Farage is looking to stoke up summer riots again. He is a vile racist who uses people's fear and anger to create division and hatred. Farage is a stain on the UK's history. He is using the death of a young man to stoke up anger across a fractured country.
I feel so so sorry for Henry Nowaks parents.
Not a Labour Party member, but this is not bad in less than 2 years. Suggest Labour MPs, party members and wannabe leaders get a grip and do their stuff.
HMP Long Lartin | Since the last inspection, there had been four self-inflicted deaths and levels of self-harm were high; those in crisis received inadequate support and risk management systems were weak or inconsistently applied.
I was a prison officer, Nick. You can't preach "tough on crime." Your lot cut nearly 7,000 prison officers since 2010 and handed our jails to G4S and Serco. You broke the system, then act shocked it doesn't work.
You know what actually works? Lads out on licence getting their track tickets, learning a trade, coming home as taxpayers instead of reoffenders. That's using human capital, not warehousing it. A lad sat in a cell doing nothing helps nobody.
And funny how quiet you all go on the tax dodgers and the oligarchs bankrolling Putin's war. Boris took a Russian ex-KGB man's hospitality at his Italian villa, dodged his own officials, then made the son a Lord. Where's your "lock them up" energy for that?
Farage £5m grift is a MASSIVE story - it's forced him into hiding. Yet the BBC hasn't covered it on their website for 17 days.
How comes, BBC? Not a big enough story for you? I suspect a coverup! Let me know your thoughts.
Angela Rayner - £40k underpaid stamp duty - repaid. Lost jobs in Cabinet and Dep. PM.
Peter Murrell - £400k theft from SNP - going to prison
Huge coverage of both
Nigel Farage - £5m undeclared bung (possibly more) - goes to ground for a month.
Media coverage? You judge.
Too many people are dying within weeks of leaving prison.
Our CEO @AndyKeenDowns highlights a perfect storm: rising prison numbers, worsening mental health, and people released with nowhere safe to go.
This isn’t inevitable.
