My cousin brother died last year at the age of 39 years old without getting married, But 17 years ago he impregnated a lady the lady had a baby girl for him, but he never took care of the child. so after his burial last year the baby mama reached out that we should come for our niece . That we should come and take her that she’s our family. Being that my late cousins dad (my uncle) who was supposed to go is late , my dad had to go with some people as a representative. My dad went with drinks and kola nuts, to meet with her uncle’s, the uncle’s demanded for 50 million because she’s a girl that if she was a boy that they would have asked for 100 million, my dad asked why such amount? They said it was for neglecting her that they took care of her for 17 years with no support. My dad priced 500k? They refused. My papa went home with his umunna 😂😂😂

Happy birthday to the man who fought another lecturer who wanted sex over my hard work as a student. A lecturer boldly failed me because I refused a visit. He was known for it. I was in 200 level then. I saw the disappointment on my professor's face because this was someone he helped.

When the information got to my professor, he took immediate action.

On the agreed date for the hearing, I got into the room with my previous results on the table. All I heard was, "It cannot be Blessing. Dr, something is wrong. She wrote all of these in the past. She is diligent. It can't be my daughter. Dismiss this."

Although it was too late for the portal to change the verdict online, I am glad my innocence was proven. All my scripts magically reappeared. And the next generation after me has not had to deal with such an element. I saw my script. I did not fail, as written by the man who lacks self-discipline.

I have not forgotten how you stood up for me, Sir. You made sure whoever did this paid heavily for it. It is 5 years after graduation but everything is still new in my heart.

Professor Modo gave me access to his library. He encouraged me to be steadfast. He has not forgotten me. He spoke to me early this year and told me to further my studies since I am well now.

Throughout the time I was sick, he was always talking to me. He would say, "When you are ready, go to this institution and tell XYZ that you are from me."

Thank you, my amiable Professor Innocent Modo. You stood up for so many. You shielded many with school fees and feeding money. I witnessed it as a student then. May God keep shielding you, Sir.

This is a young medical doctor called Dr Innocent. He’s working as a house officer at the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital in Calabar, Cross River State.

Dr Innocent and his other doctor colleagues who are also house officers have NOT been paid for 290 days.

Yes you read that right.
A whole 290 days of working as a medical doctor with ZERO pay. That’s about 10 months work with NO pay.

According to Dr Innocent,
The Ministry of Defence has refused to pay their salaries for no reason. This young medical doctors are being worked like slaves while receiving ZERO pay.

They have nobody to speak for them.
They have nobody to fight for them.
They are suffering and dying in silence.
