The question needs to be posed as to why TG4 can’t show some Championship matches under the next GAA rights deal. Can’t imagine they wouldn’t have been interested in Donegal v Cork or Kildare v Kerry. They already showcase Leagues, Club, Underage Matches and Ladies Football.
Hope that the @officialgaa will have the sense to have the hurling quarter finals on the 21st June as they already have The Feile Hurling and Camogie fixed for the 20th June 🤞

“That is real homes, real apartments, and real 3-bed houses being handed over to people who arrive here, often with no valid ID, no legitimate claim to asylum. Meanwhile our own citizens, Irish families, are left begging for accommodation," she said.

Activist: "Your cows are putting carbon into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "Where did they get it?"
Activist: "What?"
Farmer: "The carbon. Where did the cow get it before it put it anywhere."
Activist: "From... eating?"
Farmer: "From eating grass. And where did the grass get it."
Activist: "The soil?"
Farmer: "The air. The grass pulled it out of the air last spring. The cow ate the grass. The cow breathed some of it back out. It went back into the air it came from."
Activist: "But it's still going into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "It's going back. There's a difference between a thing going somewhere and a thing going back. You've described a circle and you're frightened of it."
Activist: "Then just don't have the cow."
Farmer: "The grass still dies in autumn. It rots where it falls. The carbon goes back into the air either way, just without anyone getting fed in the middle."
Activist: "It's not that simple."
Farmer: "It's grass, cow, breath, grass. Or it's grass, rot, air, grass. Same circle, fewer dinners. If that's complicated for you I'd stay away from the water cycle. That one's got clouds in it."
@DanielHussey2 Some joke that Offaly senior hurlers only gonna be shown once across all tv and streaming and they have be involved in 2 of the best games this session
@Demolator996@buff_egan Maybe not but last 2 years they weren't far off the last 2 years and missing players like Billy Ryan and Hugh Lawlor this year is a big loss. The production line of player at underage is not what it was but can see them coming again once they get it right
@Demolator996@buff_egan A lot of people said that in the mid nineties and look what happened in the 00s with the kilkenny team. Always said it right off Kilkenny at your pearl
It’s like an obsession for her and her sister. While she’s at it , maybe she can comment on out of control illegal immigration, healthcare in ireland, energy costs, housing for young people. And when she’s finished all that she can talk about her feelings on other countries.
“A country with a €23 billion surplus and the highest GDP per capita in Europe is debating whether its young people should live in sheds in their parents’ gardens”.
