Finally, Tokyo @KAKADO__ Monday 6th April
I loved playing this show. It was the perfect finale, with the Kakado team's epic sound, lighting, and camera work for the livestream.
Thank you- it was a dream to share my music with so many of you and meet you after the show. またね
The show in Osaka @Bambooclubtemma Saturday 4th April was super fun- funny too.
What stayed with me from this show was the people- from the hilarious and lovely crew, Rumi and Kei, to the moving interactions I had with audience members.
It reminded me how lucky I am to do this.
There was something special about Nagoya at @tatarabanagoya - Friday 3rd April.
It may have been due to the incredibly cool venue, ultra cool and accomodating Tataraba team, the warmth of the lovely audience members...

...or the fact that Nagoya is often overlooked by touring artists - it could have been that I just played better that day - but this show has stayed with me. I will always return to Nagoya!
Thank you @tatarabanagoya !!

Then we had the Kyoto show at CYNTHIA'S PIANO&PUB, Thursday 2nd April.
The piano was fantastic, Cynthia was so welcoming, and it was so nice to meet everyone in the audience!
I can't believe it's already been a month since my Japan Tour started.
@cafegoatee Kamakura - Sunday 29th March
This was a magical first show and I think everyone who was there could feel it. I'd never felt something like this before and I'll always remember it. Thanks, Keiji.
Japan. You were immense and life changing in so many ways. I’m coming home with a completely altered perspective. Your support and passion has given me a new determination and clarity that I don’t think I’ve felt before.
Thank you to everyone for coming to the shows, for listening so attentively and cheering so energetically. Thank you for talking to to me - it was truly the highlight of everything. Thank you for the gifts, letters, and your art - these gave me a joy I never expected to feel.
A huge thank you to every staff member for providing me with unforgettable spaces in which to perform and helping us out - Keiji, Cynthia, the trio at Tataraba, Rumi and Kei, the team at Kakado. And to the HTP Team extensions, Akiko and Ema, for helping the wheels run smoother!
Of course, thank you Yuko, for giving up everything and making my dream a reality. I can’t say it enough. This tour wouldn’t have happened without you. Darcie and I had the best time travelling across the country with you.
@yuko_onionhead
I’d be a fool to ignore the incredible feeling this has given me. This album will be with you as soon as I can manage and we have already begun plans for the next Japan tour. I want to grow this amazing thing I’m lucky enough to have started. I’ll see you soon!
