Over the years, I have noticed that many Muslims say ‘La haula’ or ‘La ilaha’ and stop there. This is incorrect because, in doing so, the meaning changes to ‘There is no power’ or ‘There is no God.’ We should be mindful of what we say. May Allah help us rectify our mistakes Amin.

A Broken Heart Sees No Justice: The Tragic Fate of Dr. Muhammad Auwal sulaiman and His Son Abubakar Sadiq sulaiman.

When 15-year-old Abubakar Sadiq Suleiman was kidnapped in front of his family's home in Bauchi, his father, Dr. Muhammad Auwal sulaiman a dedicated medical doctor did what any parent would do. He provided a significant ransom in hopes of securing his son's safe return.

Tragically, the situation ended in heartbreak as Abubakar’s life was taken by those he once trusted. While the suspects were apprehended by the Bauchi State Police Command in 2020, the subsequent years were marked by a long and difficult legal process.

For Dr. Muhammad Auwal sulaiman, the prolonged lack of closure and the weight of the tragedy became a burden that was difficult to bear.

The profound grief of losing a child under such circumstances took a significant toll on Dr. Muhammad Auwal sulaiman health.

Friends and family watched as his physical well-being declined alongside his search for accountability. Unfortunately, Dr. Muhammad Auwal sulaiman passed away, leaving the community to mourn a father whose life was deeply impacted by the loss of his son and the challenges of the justice system.

May they both find peace, and may the family find the strength and justice they seek in the here after.
