Most of India's PCB prototyping still happens in China, with JLCPCB offering ultra-low cost, consistent quality, and ease of use for small quantities.
Indian PCB manufacturers exist, but they struggle to compete with China on price.
Now though, there's a new kid on the block.
@ivishaltejwani is building PlaceStation, a made-in-India PCB manufacturing product ecosystem (based on open-source systems) that combines accelerated stenciling, component pick and place automation, and a custom reflow oven.
By bringing all of these together in a desktop-sized assembly line, Vishal and team are unlocking unprecedented access to affordable in-house PCB prototyping for Indian startups.
We visited Vishal Tejwani's R&D office in Mumbai to see how he's making it happen.
@EvryPaisaMatter This might be a new development. As a T1 user, I can tell you that I was charged a forex fee plus GST separately for transactions in Jan 2026. Since I signed up for the forex offer, I got cashback for the fee.
@Kenu73 Hey Priyesh,
The new DGCA guidelines specifically state that the 48-hour rule applies only when booking from airlines directly. Does this mean aggregators won’t be eligible for the 24/48 H rule? Or am I mistaken?
@Kenu73 I use Deco M4 (4 units) covering 2 floors.
Previously had upper nodes on wireless => slow speeds, so I wired them all with Ethernet.
Tp-link issue => devices stick to the old node even when I move much closer to another one.
