Hindu women were hung naked in beef shops, female students were raped and then hung from windows: Hear the brutality from the elderly man who witnessed ‘Direct Action Day’

Muslim leaders declared August 16, 1946, as ‘Direct Action Day’ for the partition of India, when Muslim mobs unleashed brutal violence against Hindus. The impact was particularly severe in Bengal, where riots broke out in several areas. The Noakhali riots are among the most notorious, continuing for several months. Mahatma Gandhi had to camp in the area. An elderly man has shared his experiences of these riots.

Journalist Abhijit Majumdar shared a video of this on social media. Rabindranath Dutta, a survivor of ‘Direct Action Day’, witnessed the brutality of the Muslim mob firsthand. He is 92 years old, meaning he was a young man, around 24 years old, at the time. He described how the naked bodies of Hindu women were hung from hooks in the beef shops of Raja Bazaar.

He recounted how several Hindu female students studying at Victoria College were raped, murdered, and their bodies hung from the windows of the hostel. Rabindranath Dutta saw the mutilated bodies of Hindus with his own eyes. There were streams of blood on the ground, flowing even under his feet. Many of these were women whose breasts had been cut off. There were black marks on their private parts.

This was the epitome of cruelty. To share his experiences with the world, Rabindranath Dutta wrote a dozen books on ‘Direct Action Day’, the Noakhali massacre, and the 1971 genocide. He funded this by selling his wife's jewelry after her death. His eyewitness accounts, along with his extensive study and research, are included in these books. He says that no leader, film personality, or media figure in Bengal cares about this.

Women were raped, and people were forcibly converted. The story of Gopal Chandra Mukherjee, also known as Gopal Patha, and his role on the Hindu side during these riots is very well-known. Gopal Mukherjee formed a militia that defended Hindus during the riots, and this militia fought so fiercely that the leaders of the Muslim League had to request Gopal Mukherjee to stop the bloodshed.

Ayan and five others have been booked for trapping over 300 girls for making their 180 nude videos. They used to take admissions in medical coachings. Names of two coachings have come up: Future Hunt and Akash. After taking admissions, during common classes or cultural events, they would befriend girls from 10th, 11th, and 12th classes. After a few meetings, they would ask them out, take them to cafés.

In a few meetings, they would add them to a Snapchat group whose name was in Urdu. Later, they would send messages about Islam, such as there being only one God, Allah, and so on.

Meeting out became regular as they had good bikes and cars. Then they would take the girls to hotels, expensive hotels, give them gifts, later get intimate and record videos for boasting.

One would imagine where this money is flowing from?

These boys were part of a gang called the "Barood Gang". This gang is active locally and deals with illegal sand mining and beef trade. All the money they make from this is allegedly invested in operations like the ones Arman was carrying out.

Arman and his gang would use the same clips to extort money from the girls as well. When the girls failed to meet their demands, which were in lakhs, they were asked to do favours in exchange for getting their videos deleted.

What were the favours?

They would ask the girls to sleep with middle-aged Muslim men.

Who are these men?

Members of the Barood Gang or members of political parties, allegedly. If this was not enough, the accused had shared the videos of the girls on social media platforms who failed to comply with their demands.

All of this has been going on for one and a half years now, with one of the girls even committing suicide last year.

As of now Ayan has been booked.

Grooming Jihad Trick 101 from Nashik TCS Case:

This is the story of a 23-year-old woman who joined as a fresher in the office under Team Leader Raza Memon, with Shahruk Qureshi and Shafi as her trainer.

How the training happened?
1. He would talk about her personal life more than work.
2. He would ask about her mother.
3. He would ask if she had slept, eaten, or reached home safely, etc.
4. He would ask if she had a boyfriend. If she didn’t have one right now, she must have had an ex-boyfriend for sure.
5. He would ask if she had a physical relationship with her boyfriends.
6. He would come uncomfortably close to her. She got scared.

One day he said, “I like you so much, can you be my girlfriend?” She refused and avoided having any conversation with him, but he kept chasing her.

She missed office for a few days. One day when she came, he approached her and said, “If you will not come to office, I will also not come.”

Later, she complained about this to Raza Memon, who called both of them to his cabin. It was then decided that Shafi would no longer chase the victim.

After this complaint, Raza Memon began talking to her about her life and personal details. He also asked if she had a boyfriend.

One day he called her and asked if she was facing PCOD. He advised her to get a little facial done so that she could look good.
He also said, “Go to the gym and stay fit.”

Raza Memon would come close and try to touch her while talking. He would talk about physical intimacy with her.

Doesn’t it feel like the woman was in a jungle and had to protect herself from animals?

"Do you like the big one?": Another Hindu victim opens up about what happened at Nashik TCS office – Details:

A 25-year-old woman, Sapna Gaikwad (name changed, surname retained), has told the police how she was harassed by Asif, Shafi, and Tausif.

They would stare at her chest and smile lecherously. One day, while staring at her breasts, Asif asked, “Do you like your little one or the big one?”

On another occasion, they said, “Look how big it is, will you take it?” In the name of helping her, they would deliberately touch their genitals to her body.

They also made derogatory comments about Hindu deities, saying, “We have read the Ramayan and Mahabharat. Krishna was a womaniser. How did Bhagwan Shankar not know about the birth of Ganesh? If Shankar was not there, how could Parvati have given birth to Ganesh?”

They further abused our deities by saying, “Why was Shankar in such a hurry while Parvati was taking a bath!”

I said this in an X space yesterday and here is my argument.

There are bunch of similarities between the UK grooming gang scandal ( Rotherham or Rochdale) and Nashik TCS BPO scandal as striking parallels emerge in the mechanics of exploitation.

Systematic targeting of the vulnerable:
The UK context: Grooming gangs specifically targeted girls from troubled backgrounds, those in local authority care, or families with limited social capital.
The Nashik case: The SIT report highlights that the team leaders and managers targeted women from economically weaker sections. These employees often lacked the corporate confidence to report harassment and were heavily dependent on their monthly paychecks for family survival.

Use of institutional blindness:
The UK context: A key failure in the UK was the culture of silence among police and social workers who feared being labelled racist or simply viewed the victims as making bad lifestyle choices.
The Nashik case: There are similar allegations of institutional negligence. The arrest of the HR Head is pivotal here; victims allege that when they reported the harassment, they were told it was normal MNC culture or were outright ignored, effectively trapping them within the predatory system.

Coercion through power imbalance:
UK: Predators used gifts, drugs, or protection to create a debt that was later repaid through sexual services.
Nashik: The debt here was the job itself. Managers allegedly used their power over performance appraisals and employment status to enforce compliance with both sexual demands and religious rituals (like forcing the consumption of beef or performance of namaz).

Grooming vs corporate indoctrination:
The SIT has noted that the process was not immediate. It involved a gradual grooming phase where new recruits were isolated from colleagues who didn't fit the group’s ideology. Constant derogatory remarks about their own background or religion were used to break down their self-esteem. Once the victim was sufficiently mentally exhausted or fearful of losing their livelihood, the extreme exploitation (sexual and religious) began.

A well-oiled racket is at the centre of both criminal acts. In the UK, the state failed; in Nashik, the corporation failed. Be alert. We cannot afford to look away, again.

राजपूत-ब्राह्मण-भूमिहार-लाला आदि को ले कर घृणा इतनी मेनस्ट्रीम हो गई है कि किसी पासवान समाज के दलित-पीड़ित-शोषित-वंचित को लगता है कि सवर्ण बच्ची का रेप करना, उसके पूर्वजों के साथ हुए कथित अपमान का उचित बदला है।

उसे इसी सरकार ने यह हथियार थमाया है कि दीवारों पर लिखे नारों के मुँह तक पहुँचने, और देश छोड़ने के नारों से कब्र खुदने की बात तक, सवर्णों के प्रति घृणा सामान्यीकृत की जा चुकी है। ये नारे अब केवल नारे नहीं हैं, ये नारे दिल्ली में लगते हैं, बिहार में फोन पर देखे जाते हैं और किसी बच्ची को इस दुष्कृत्य का शिकार बना दिया जाता है।

A second-year B. Com student at DU was reported to have been attacked with acid by three men, one of whom had allegedly been stalking her for a long time. The incident triggered huge outrage.

Except, the story was fake. The burn marks on her hands were caused by a toilet cleaner, not acid, one she had brought from home and poured on herself.

She did this because her father, Aqeel Khan, told her to. Aqeel wanted to frame the three men, especially Jeetendra, whose wife had filed a complaint against him for sexual harassment, two days before the attack. Fearing legal trouble and public disgrace, Khan decided to divert attention by fabricating an acid attack case that would frame Jitendra and his associates.

Aqeel Khan, who had been absconding, has now been arrested. Both father and daughter have confessed to their crimes.
