Used to track my gym workouts in Notes & WhatsApp.
Tried a bunch of apps, but none fit my workflow.
So I built my own with Next.js (AI did most of the coding, I handled the orchestration).
Now I track workouts, meals, progress photos, and strength—all in one place.
Built my portfolio a few months ago and have been improving it ever since.

Finally did it.
Built my portfolio from scratch and pushed it live. Technically, this is my third portfolio.

Nothing fancy. Just clean, fast, and mine.

Prompt : "Create an animated SVG loop of a samurai on a cliff slicing a falling leaf in half, the two halves float back up, reassemble, and fall again"
gemini 3 pro has given me this : with the same prompt @karankendre
I used to think people who post about earning six figures while in college.
For me, it was "That's not possible, that has to be a scam."
Because in my surroundings, everyone had the same mindset.
Until my Fuck Around & Find Out (FAFO) started to give me results.
I mean, it didn't happen overnight, but earning six figures is possible while being in college.
You just need to shut the negative people in your surroundings.
I'd say be isolated from them and focus on one thing (or two) and go really, really deep into it.
Because "The fish who are on the surface level of the ocean are going to either be eaten by seagulls, humans, or swallowed by whales, but if you go deeper, even light can’t reach the ocean. There is no competition because not many species can survive there."
Hope you got the analogy
so in summary,
Isolation + Chasing Deep Expertise + No fear of FAFO
is the deadliest combo of winning in life.
Might not work for you.
But it worked for me so far.
Started with a ₹32,000 Windows laptop bought using a scholarship and small savings.
Three years later, bought a MacBook Air and I’m paying the EMIs on my own.
Slow progress, but meaningful.
Grateful for the journey.

When you get into big codebase, then you understand that it is damn true.
