The police department transferred the concerned police personnel to the police lines and initiated an inquiry into the matter. The Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation took prompt steps toward relief and rehabilitation. Municipal Commissioner Om Kasera and Deputy Commissioner Neelam Meena personally visited the victim's home, met the family to inquire about her well-being, and assured them of all possible support from the state government. The government clarified that it would bear the entire cost of Reshu's medical treatment. Additionally, financial assistance would be provided to restore the family's livelihood, and the process of allocating a dairy booth to provide permanent employment would also be initiated.
