The sheer arrogance in this statement by Nitin Gadkari sums up the government's stance on the fuel crisis.

Force consumers into buying cheaper-to-produce E20 ethanol blends at premium prices, suffer a massive drop in vehicle mileage, and if they complain about engine damage, tell them to track down ₹168/liter pure petrol instead.

We are paying record-high taxes only to be gaslit by the people we elected. The middle class isn't a bottomless ATM for policy experiments.

Well, a Consumer Court just gave you your first official reality check. ⚖️

The Raipur District Consumer Commission has ordered Maruti Suzuki to completely replace a customer’s ₹20.5 Lakh Grand Vitara (or refund the full amount with compensation) because E20 blended petrol repeatedly stalled the engine and caused severe breakdowns.

For months, the Modi government has gaslighted ordinary car owners, aggressively forcing ethanol-blended fuel at every pump while giving citizens zero choice.

When taxpayers complained about engine damage and dropping mileage, they were met with arrogant denial from the top ministers.

The court has explicitly called out this "unfair trade practice."

Ministers can run PR campaigns, but they cannot run away from a judicial order. Who is going to pay for the lakhs of vehicles quietly rotting away because of forced ethanol blending?

Will Gadkari and Puri take accountability now, or will they keep shielding corporate interests over common taxpayers?

People around the world may not know: India is opening an airport or terminal every 75 days. Some 80 airports have been built in the last 10 years, more than what India has built in the preceding 7 decades since independence. And the airports look like this.

@jassneetsingha How is this a devaluation? I understand that capping per month is 3k reward points per month and not 3k rupees per month. So effectively that still allows everyone to take 10k rupees worth vouchers per brand which is a usual limit on majority of vouchers

Notifying @GBA_office that Medahalli Kadugodi road is severely damaged. The pothole repair drive is inadequate. A comprehensive road development plan is needed. Please investigate why the previous contractor failed to complete construction.

I hope that @GBA_office will act on Medahalli Kadugodi road after some inputs from @krishnabgowda . Please fix this road. It’s been a year now and no one from authority has acted on it. First road was itself not constructed , second it was ignored for potholes filling drive. Multiple complaints have been filed by residents of this area, but all going to deaf eyes and ears.
