Well, it is not due to FSSAI or Government. It is not due to any changed laws.

It is just because of public awareness that even established brands like these have to now advertise & launch zero/low sugar products.

Sugar was a gold mine for companies for centuries.

Just to understand, Sugar is ₹45/kg & a product like nut*lla sells for roughly ₹1000/kg. Out of that, 56% is just sugar.

So, imagine using just ₹25 for making 560 gm of your product.

The profit margins must be crazy in all these sugar based products. They still are.
