Still, @RahulGandhi has chosen to fight with what might seem the most inadequate of weapons: moral clarity, ideological consistency, and human empathy. 

@Ram_Guha Ramchandra Guha, after terrible decision to support Modi in 2014, now, searches for  another messiah.  He risks repeating the error: demanding perfection from an opposition leader who is overcoming unfair limits, with hands tied, facing constant hardships and battling the elements. Guha fails to recognise these chains and fetters.

It takes tremendous courage to be democratic in the absence of democratic space. To stand up for an idea knowing fully well that there is huge personal cost to be paid for it. 

Rahul Gandhi knows that he will be attacked and vilified. He knows his supporters will be attacked and vilified. But he still fights on. His approach can best be described in the words of Kabir, who understood about the nature of moral commitment in a hostile world:

ना काहू से दोस्ती, ना काहू से बैर।।

Dictatorial systems do not allow democratic functioning to proceed on level terms. If someone is standing firm within such a system, refusing to be broken or bought or diverted, there has to be a reason rooted in the quality of their leadership.

सुपौल आज एक विशाल और भव्य मशाल जुलूस का गवाह बना है।

पूरा शहर महंगाई और पेपर लीक के खिलाफ नारों से गूंज उठा। जिला कांग्रेस के आह्वाहन पर छात्र युवा बुद्धिजीवी समेत समाज का हर वर्ग कदम से कदम मिलाकर जुलूस का हिस्सा बन गया।

आज के सफल इस आयोजन से स्पष्ट है कि बदलाव अब दूर नहीं है!

दिल्ली के शालीमार बाग गांव में मैक्स रोड पर सड़क चौडीकरण के नाम पर सैकड़ों घरों को ध्वस्त करने का आदेश @gupta_rekha सरकार ने दे दिया है।

यहां लोग 40 -45 सालों से बसे हुए हैं। ज्यादातर परिवार प्रवासी हैं, जो दलित आदिवासी या पिछड़े तबके से आते हैं। यहां के लोग जैसे तैसे पूरी जिंदगी की कमाई लगाकर अपने लिए एक छत की व्यवस्था कर पाए हैं। ये हजारों लोग बेघर हो जायेंगे।

वहां पहले से सत्तर फीट चौड़ा रोड मौजूद है। रोड के ठीक पास से 15 फीट का नाला है। वहीं खाली सरकारी जमीन भी उपलब्ध है।

भाजपा की सरकार कंपनियों के प्रति इतना प्रेम क्यों रखती है कि उन्हें हजारों लोगों का बेघर हो जाना भी मंजूर है।

आखिर जब वैकल्पिक व्यवस्था उपलब्ध है तो क्यों मानवीय तरीके से नहीं सोच रही है सरकार?

But they are stuck with unfair algorithms, hard work, low pay, uncertainty and almost no security of income.

We strongly believe that they deserve a strong National Law that ensures fair wages, dignity and respect.

We’ve heard hundreds of heart-wrenching stories of these platform based workers.

Stories of unsafe conditions, uncertain incomes, lack of social security, and families left vulnerable after accidents.

We urgently need a comprehensive National Gig Workers’ Rights and Welfare Law.

कल मुंबई प्रदेश युवा कांग्रेस और उत्तर मुंबई जिला युवा कांग्रेस द्वारा 'गिग वर्कर न्याय अभियान' का सफल आयोजन किया गया। इस अभियान में वर्कर्स ने बड़ी संख्या में हिस्सा लेकर अपनी समस्याएं साझा की।

हाल ही में नेता प्रतिपक्ष श्री @RahulGandhi जी गिग-वर्कर्स के एक समूह से मिले और उनकी समस्याओं को सुनकर लोकसभा में सरकार से सवाल पूछा

* क्या गिग-वर्कर्स को न्यूनतम मजदूरी मिलेगी? - कोई जवाब नहीं*

* बीमा योजनाओं में उनके क्लेम (फाइल, स्वीकृत, अस्वीकृत) का डेटा क्या है?
- कोई जवाब नहीं

* गिग-वर्कर्स के एक्सीडेंट और मौतों की संख्या बताई जाए?

- कोई जवाब नहीं

* सरकार के पास ID ब्लॉकिंग, जाति-आधारित भेदभाव और महिला वर्कर्स की समस्याओं को दूर करने की कोई योजना है?

- *कोई जवाब नहीं*

सरकार की चुप्पी दिखाती है कि हमारे गिग-वर्कर्स का श्रम, उनका सम्मान, उनकी सुरक्षा, इस सरकार की प्राथमिकता में है ही नहीं।

आज लखनऊ में UPSI भर्ती के प्रतियोगी छात्रों से मुलाकात हुई।

कल शाम UPSI भर्ती के अभ्यर्थी अजय राघव को लखनऊ पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया। वो अभी भी गोसाईगंज जिला जेल में हैं।

राघव अपनी UPSI की 4543 पदों की भर्ती में 2000 पदों की वृद्धि की माँग, लिखित परीक्षा का स्कोर कार्ड जारी करने और अंतिम परिणाम के साथ वेटिंग लिस्ट भी जारी करने की माँग कर रहे थे।

इस माँग के लिए राघव अलग अलग जनप्रतिनिधियों से मिल कर ज्ञापन दे रहे थे। ध्यान रहे इस बीच कोई धरना या प्रदर्शन नहीं किया गया।

राघव को कल सुबह चारबाग से हिरासत में लिया गया, बाद में हुसैनगंज थाना
फिर गोमतीनगर थाना
फिर डालीगंज में मजिस्ट्रेट के पास ले जाया गया
जहाँ से उन्हें गोसाईगंज जेल भेज दिया गया।

मुझे बताया गया है की राघव का चालान धारा 151 के अंतर्गत किया गया है और फिलहाल दो दिन के लिए जेल भेजा गया है।

सवाल है कि सरकार को बेरोजगार युवाओं से क्या खतरा है जो ज्ञापन देने पर जेल भेज दिया जा रहा है।

हम तत्काल राघव की रिहाई की माँग करते हैं!

असम के अभद्र मुख्यमंत्री हिमांता बिस्व सरमा द्वारा कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष आदरणीय @kharge जी के अपमान के विरुद्ध सुपौल में जोरदार प्रदर्शन हुआ।
